    • So far so good for a cheap umbrella
I don't often need an umbrella, so I looked for one that is cheap and small. This is a cheap small umbrella indeed. It took me a few moments to understand how to operate it - it did not puff open like umbrellas I'm used to, when sliding up the middle part. Turns out I just needed to back up and retry more slowly to get everything to click into place. It kind up folds up funny with the upper part folding inward and the lower rim folding the other way. It comes with an outer storage sleeve which is IMPOSSIBLE to get the umbrella back into after you have used it for the first time. Fortunately it also comes with a velcro strip attached to the umbrella itself so you can wrap it up neatly, so I find the sleeve is just not necessary. The size of the umbrella is sufficient for one person. It is not large. It has a nice deeply concave shape that envelops you. If this were a more expensive umbrella I might have given it 3 stars, but for the $6 price at the time of this review, it is a good enough value to warrant 5 stars. ... show more

Umbrella is made well, feels like a plastic nylon material it comes with a matching sleeve to put your wet umbrella in, however sleeve is hard to put back on once you open it for the first time. Bottom of umbrella folds upwards which is wild, and those metal prongs are exposed and tend to get stuck on your sleeve., while trying to pull it on. Not sure how this would hold up to heavy winds, but makes a great sun umbrella. ... show more
