  • Nice sound. Perfect highs/mids

  • Best audio quality
If you are interested in the best quality for music, I guarantee this will fit your needs, this is the best studio monitor you can get. I am a big fan of a good sound and this for me are perfect. I am thinking in buying the HS7 now

  • Dont even hesitate
I thought I must have had faulty connections to my past speakers (maudio junk) because the upgrade to these make every song sound new and alive, no joke. There's rumors that your ears must adjust, yeah it's true, but adjusting to AMAZING isn't tough. You'll notice yourself listening to things quieter at lower volume levels because multimedia speakers drown out the important details for the sake of coloring crappy sound, like in video games. Amazing clarity and stereo width, they are well worth another $50-100 to avoid cheaper junk. These are industry standards. P.S. the 4" are PLENTY loud, if you're in a large to small room composing at a desk workstation, these are ACE. I'd do the 5" if you're in a small studio where the speakers are a bar further from you. No reason to blast your ears off! ... show more

  • Amazing PC speakers. Using with a DAC AMP combo.
Amazing sound. What an upgrade. I was using JBL 104 PC speakers for years. Those are supposed to be decent speakers. The Yamaha HS4 just blew them away out of the box. I have the HS4 speakers connected to a DAC AMP combo, and I'm amazing by the clarity of sound. I LOVE these so far! I've only had them for hours but the sound quality just using Spotify to play regular music is a pleasure. ... show more

  • YAMAHA HS4 is awesome
The media could not be loaded. This YAMAHA HS4 Powered Studio Monitor perfect for my YAMAHA silent grand piano. For the price of less than $200, YAMAHA HS4 is solid and the sound quality is beyond my expectation. Highly recommended.

  • Sounds okay but not much better than presonus
I got these as an upgrade for my presonus 3.5 they cost more and I don’t think they are really worth it but they are pretty good

  • Best ENTRY LEVEL Studio Monitors You can get.
Bought the Presonus 3.5s... Sent them back. Bought the Edifier MR4s... Sent them back. Cheap is never the option unless you literal have no choice. I'm new to production but am really into sounds. Sounds in the back of tracks, taps, kicks, bumps you name it I've always loved listening to the mysterious sounds in the back of music. I didn't know what Studio Monitors were like before I got them, the other two had low hissing and would cut out souns at a "too high" volume. I did not know Studio Monitors were like old-school receivers and would cut out or "distort" when played too loud but I'm into music so I know it's an Amp issue. These let me play my music a little higher and the first time I played them I noticed something in my mix I didn't notice with both of the other speakers. If you're serious get this, if you don't really care about nuances buy the MR4s. If you don't care about a low audible hum, the Presonus 3.5 are ok but I truly don't recommend them. ... show more
