I don't know if there's a better bed for the price on all of Amazon. This thing is rock solid, was easy to put together, and arrived quickly. One word of advice to people who have complained about bolts loosening: go to your hardware store and buy a little tube of blue Locktite thread locker. You'll still be able to disassemble it if you need to move it, but while it stays set up it prevents the bolts from backing out on you and causing any racket. ... show more

This is a great bed, especially for the price! It is very heavy and the metal frame seems like it will last a long time. Doesn't feel cheap. You can put it together alone but would be easier to have two people. There was some squeaking at first but I just had to go around and tighten the bolts. Problem solved. Bought this bed for my 13 yr old. He loves it! I would buy again and would definitely recommend! ... show more

I love this bed frame. The instructions kept me thinking through whole assembly. I am a 74 year-old woman. I assembled this by myself. I started one evening and when I got a little put out with the project, I quit. I completed it later. With a couple of adjustments, I got it together correctly, and it is a great frame. I guess I'm not so much in love with pictures pointing to parts and showing how to assemble; but it did work out well. ... show more

For the past 4 years, I have been sleeping on a mattress on the ground in my apartment. I’ve been extremely short on money and never had a problem with my aleeping situation. Sure, I did miss having an elevated bed, but there was a lot more going on in my life that, honestly, I was just thankful I could own a mattress in the first place. However, after a lot of hard work, I’m beginning to make more money and I thought I would treat myself. Good Lord, is this bed frame nice! First and foremost, easy to assemble. I got off work at 10 and had the frame done by 11:30. There aren’t step by step descriptions, but instead sections with pictures. Secondly, the quality of the actual frame itself is much better than I thought it would. The wood panels are glossy and have a little bit of weight to them, which is nice. The only bit of advice I would have if you have a preference for high headboards, maybe look at a differenct style as it does sit low on the frame. It looks great without a box spring! Lastly, It’s comfortable! Doesn’t make noise at all! Now, I’m going to finish drinking this celebratory beer in my new bed. Have a good day, y’all! ... show more

The bed was fairly simple to assemble. My daughter and I had it together in about 20 minutes. It is much sturdier than I expected. Having pitched a bed from Amazon before I knew what I was getting. The thing I like the most is that I don’t have to have a box springs for it and if the mattress you place on it is fairly well designed it is more comfortable than you expect.
