My husband and I just got a golden retriever puppy a few weeks ago and we also have a 5 year old cocker spaniel. During the summer we like to spend time in our yard and in our pool. We live in a quiet neighborhood but we are right next to a road with occasional walkers and cars so safety for the dogs is of upmost importance to us. Last year I kept my dog on a long lead and that worked decently however she was tangling herself a lot in the bushes and fencing on our deck, and we knew with a second dog the tangling would get worse, especially if they start to play. We didn’t want to have to stop what we're doing outside 100 times a day to untangle them so we started to look into other options of keeping them in the yard. I quickly ruled out safety collars and other lead options out there, which pretty much left us with fencing. We rent currently so we couldn’t put in an actual fence and we didn’t have that big of a budget anyway. I knew some family had temporary fencing like this and started looking around, I was so afraid it was going to be super flimsy and get knocked down right away, too short where my dogs could jump over it, and not have enough panels to give them the space I wanted to. After doing a lot of shopping around I came across this product and decided to bite the bullet and try it out. We bought the 40 in tall 32 panels, And we are so delighted with the outcome! It had the perfect amount of panels for the space, granted we used the pool as an extension which was always our plan. It does wobble slightly which is to be expected but we did get a slight rain storm that night and it held great! I also used zip ties when connecting the panels to the deck and pool for extra support. I think for the price it is absolutely worth it! The height is perfect for our pups and I think even when our golden gets to her full size it should keep her in fine, I don’t know about when and if she jumps up on the fence if it’ll hold her but I have high hopes! Since we live in a quiet area I don’t see her doing that much unless she sees another dog. But at least for this year when she’s small it will definitely hold her fine if she jumps on it. And with proper training this is easily avoidable. Our neighbors have a fenced in portion of their yard that’s actual fencing and ours is only a couple of inches shorter! This is going to be great for my peace of mind when relaxing in the pool that the dogs won’t get out on the road and will be in seeing distance at all times. I would highly recommend this product, the assembly was straight forward and easy. Since we ordered the 32 panels it did come in 4 large boxes that are very heavy so I would keep that in mind if you live somewhere where packages are not safe and to have someone or 2 strong people carry them and get them out of the boxes. The gates are also super easy to open and shut and while the opening is a bit narrow to step out of if you’re a larger person such as myself but I can squeeze through just fine without taking the fence down lol! Out of all the options in the market I think this is one of the better ones out there especially for the amazing price! When our golden gets bigger we may consider getting more panels to expand the space more but for this year this will be perfect!

The fence/playpen is a sturdy and well built. It is easy to put together and take down. One of the best features is the carry bag I purchase for it. It is big and easy to put the system in and well made. The company is great to work with. I had not opened my set for a couple of months and when I did I was missing a pin. I asked the company about this and they got back to me and resolved the issue. I was shocked as it had been a couple of months sense my purchase and I didn't think they would do anything but I tried and I am very happy! Thank you and everyone enjoy. Very glad I got this. I have a golden retriever puppy that loves to chew things but as he is a golden he does not know he can jump over the fence so, I'm happy and they are happy playing in the fence together. Phew!

This is the 5th time we’ve ordered the Yaheetech dog gate fences. We have a big back yard and 4 huskies that get into anything and everything. We first purchased the 40 inch tall/ 24 panel gates and another 40 inch tall/16 panel gates. My self and my husband especially LOVED how super easy to install, and can style how you want them. They have been a life saver for our organic gardens from the dogs and other pests that try to get in. We ordered more, to add on being that we were so impressed. And now just needed a couple more to expand. We will never order anything other than these gate panels. And an extra perk, the delivery of these was SUPER fast! I mean next day when it said about a week. Love that from the company! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE GATE PANELS! They are sturdy, foldable, keep dogs or animals out, easy to maneuver around, you just can’t go wrong. So glad I found these! Will be buying more that’s for sure when we need to protect our raspberry bushes this spring. Always super fast shipping, gets delivered way before estimated delivery date

I read the 1-3 star reviews before purchasing. It arrived earlier today. I just finished setting it up and let my 3 month old puppy try it out. She loves it. Let's get down to the basics. Reviewer says: It's too short. The description does say 24 inches tall. It's for small dogs. I knew that. And if my puppy happens to clear the top rail, I'll add something to deter it from happening again. Reviewer says: It Rusts and Gets Dull After Several Months. So hit it with some anti-rust paint, and reassemble once dry. That's what I'm going to do. Reviewer says: The pins bend after disassembly and reassembly. Maybe for you, but my yard is riddled with mole tunnels. With very little effort, I sunk a pin all the way down into the ground easier than a knife cutting butter. But if you have normal or clay hard dirt, run out to the hardware store and get some very long nails or something. I'm sure a clerk can offer a solution. Reviewer says: The gates are designed poorly and fail to remain shut. I've not seen an issue. Maybe you installed it backwards. Have the edge rings on the inside, all around. But, if it becomes an issue for me, I'll fasten a gate lock. But, to be honest, I'll probably just use a bungee cord. Hey, this is only a 2 foot fence anyway. Make the gates permanently locked with zip ties. It's not like you can't step over the fence. I bought this for based on 2 things. #1 It's cheaper than fencing in a section of yard. #2 It serves the basic function of giving my puppy a little space to play while I'm outside. I wouldn't let my puppy remain in the area unmonitored. I know the fence doesn't sit flush to the ground. I know that dogs like to dig. And I know they like to jump. That said, it's a safe space for my puppy. Here's how I look at it. The cost to fence in my yard ($1300+) if I did it is too high, and I can't do it alone, nor do I even have the equipment or the experience. Hiring a fence company to install a fence ($3500) is a solution, but that price. Buying this cheap metal fence ($133) and modding it to fit my needs. Seriously, what do you expect for a fence that costs less than $150. And from a woodworking stand point, this has far more possibilities. There are only two reasons I can think of as to why someone might give less than 3 stars for this product. #1 Didn't get all the pieces. #2 Product was bent. Aside from that, this is a 5-Star product. And mine came in great condition with all the parts. It even came with lots of bubble wrap for hours of entertainment. This was super easy to assemble. And while the picture makes it look bigger than it is, it's big enough for my puppy. Update: Add a thick ziptie to the hinge of the gate. If you're not dense, you might be able to get it right the first time. Fence has 2 gates. Why? Who knows. I personally don't use the gates. Remember, its only 2 feet tall. You can step over it. You can just reach down and grab your pet. That's what I do.

The fence was packed perfectly in the box and I was impressed with that. I wanted this fence to extend out to my yard from my back patio. I figured 16 panels would get it done. I was really impressed at how nice This portable fence is. It is perfectly for my small dogs, and even if they jump up on the side, it’s very durable even on the concrete. I love the way the fence sets up easily. You can put your Gates anywhere you want, even after you’ve set the fence up. I love the way the rods steak into the grass making the fence even more durable. The best thing about this fence is it looks great too. Now my other fence on the right looks like crap compared to this one. I may have to buy another and get rid of the other one. I have six dogs, two adults and four puppies that are in the puppy training at four months old. This fence work perfectly. I’m giving this a five star all the way around, even the way the gate easily opens and is very secure. Just buy this one and end your pain.

VERSATILITY: I bought the 32-panel, 40-inch high set. This is actually two sets of the 16-panel unit, which I like because it can be fit together with as many or as few panels and with eith a double door or single door (but you would lose one panel’s worth of size with the single). I had no need for two doors, but it is a plus to have the option. PACKAGING: was excellent and prevented damage to unit despite some minor gouges during shipping. SETUP: Can be done by a single person by aligning the panels temporarily with a curve to keep what will be a straight-lined side long enough to connect the panels. Of course, a second person enables more rapid assembly as one person can hold fence erect while other person adds panels. We temporarily used just one of the 16-panel units to create a circle until we had our larger space prepared. That sufficed for our 20-pound puppy’s b potty area, but was too small to keep puppy from stepping on his waste at times. Our main purpose is to use the fence to keep the dog from ruining our yard with the excess nitrogen in a dog’s urine. From my research, there is no good way to prevent that except by not having it occur, or by sufficiently diluting each urinating spot with water. No product given to a dog can prevent the problem, as it is a natural byproduct of the protein they consume. STURDINESS/LONGEVITY: We have chosen NOT to drive the connecting stakes into the ground which would increase the stability of the fence. It is plenty sturdy, but the stability, at least without the stakes driven into the ground, is marginal but sufficient for our 25# dog. That might be more important as he grows to his expected 50# adult weight, especially if he were left inside for extended periods rather than just for potty times. We didn’t drive them into the ground because we do not want to damage the weed-blocker mat beneath our prepared surface. The painted finish is well-done and should prevent significant rust despite our extensive Oregon rain. We’ve had our fence for just two weeks, so we will take another look and update this if necessary. My backup plan is to keep a good anti- corrosion enamel paint to soot paint any areas that may present problems. Certainly, this product apoears to be excellent compared to other ones I researched in Amazon. PORTABILITY: We have no intention of taking this with us to camping areas, etc., but, doing so would be very feasible except care to prevent scratching the finish would be advisable to prevent corrosion. Weight is considerable for frquent portability, but manageable by most, especially if taking just the 16-panel portion. SIZE: Our Portuguese Water Dog puppy is quite active and would rather be free than inside. I originally wanted the 48” high units to discourage any later attempts to jump the wall, but I think that is unnecessary for us. SUMMARY: This is a high quality fence that can be easily set-up for permanent or temporary use. If additional stability is desired, the stakes (thin but adequate) can be driven into the ground, the shape altered to provide more stability (especially with the 32-panel units), outside stakes and lanyard added, etc. The unit is attractive enough to be esthetically pleasing to most people. The price is substantial, but probably a good investment for longevity. AFTER NEARLY 2 YEARS: Still very happy with it, except it is corroding where male dog urinates on it. Still, it will last a lot longer.

We just got a new puppy on Saturday February 13th, 2021. At first we had her on a 20 foot chain that was anchored right inside the dog door on our heated and cooled front porch. First she chewed through her harness and so we started using a collar. I was terrified that she would slip out of that collar somehow so I started looking for another option and came across this pet gate/fence. As you can see we have been getting a ton and the ground is frozen. But after snow blowing where we wanted to put the fence up, my son and I worked together to get all the pieces connected and the fence put where I wanted it to go. It was super easy to put together. However, with the ground being frozen we could not push the connecting stakes into the ground. This fence is so well made and sturdy that it stayed up with no problem for two days before my husband staked it down with very thick and strong metal stakes. He also used zip ties to make it more secure. Then he used zip ties and attached solar lights to the top of the fence so that at night we can see our new puppy and our old dog out the window (we don’t have any lights on that side of the porch). We do have an in-ground electric fence but with her being a new puppy and just getting to know us, the last thing we need is for her to get shocked. Also, due to the weather we can’t put flags up and train her the boundaries of the in-ground fence. We live on 2 acres and once Spring hits we will get her trained and she will have a TON of room to run and play with our other dog. Anyway, this fence is a Godsend! Before we got it I was sleeping in my recliner with both pups and getting up every 3 hours to take them out. I was too nervous to lock them on the porch overnight. Carmal (our old dog) knows the boundaries so I wasn’t worried about her. But Luci (new puppy) I had to put on the chain. She was able to go in and out the dog door just fine, but again, I was worried she would somehow get detached from the chain or the chain would get caught on something. So let me tell you, the first 3 nights of having her was very tiresome. Now I can lock both Carmal and Luci on the front porch at night and go to bed without any worries thanks to this fence/gate!!!! Yes, it’s only been up for 3-4 days but I absolutely LOVE it!!! I highly recommend purchasing this pet fence/gate. It’s definitely a game changer! :)
