This a really nice cat tree that so far seems stable enough up against the wall without using the included wall anchor. The first thing that stood out to me while unboxing is how soft it is. It's also very easy to put together. The only thing I don't like is that the top perch doesn't allow for the whole tree to sit flush against the wall, but that was easily fixable by drilling a new hole and moving it. I would also prefer for the perch cover to be removable for easier cleaning. A bonus with this cat tree is that our top entry litter box fits well on the bottom level. I can't speak to durability at this point, but I have no reason to think it won't hold up well over time. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I was searching for so long to find the right cat tree. It needs to be big enough so I could put my cat's food bowl and have her eat comfortably without my 2 year old golden retriever bothering her or eating her food. Even though its wobbly, the levels are the perfect size for my larger cat. I do wish it didnt shake so much but its wide so i know it wont fall. It comes with a way to attach it to the wall but mine already ripped out of the wall from my cats jumping on it. Im not sure if i just got one with a messed up base or if they are all like that... I don't think they will ever use either of the hammocks but they love this scratcher! The carpet is very thin so it may not last more than 1 or 2 years (but this is far cheaper than scratchers with thick carpeting). I had to take the little hanging ball off the highest level because it wrapped around one of my cats paws and hurt him. He's okay and more comfortable now that the mean ball is gone. ... show more

My roommate has a dog that likes to eat cat food. So I try to keep my cat's bowl out of reach of the dog. At over five feet tall, the top shelf of this cat tree is helpful in this respect. For the price, this is really a great cat tree. I've had it for four and a half months, and I'm not seeing any signs of wear. My cat scratches the ramp and the rope columns regularly, but they all still look great. When my cat's litter-mate recently came to visit, they both spent a lot of time climbing/sleeping on the tree. It's easily suitable for two cats, but any more than that might be pushing the limit. The wide base makes the tree very sturdy. Additionally, there is an anti-tip bracket built in to the third shelf. I haven't attached it to the wall yet, but I might do that as my cat gets bigger over the next few years. For now, the tree isn't going anywhere even when my cat gets the zoomies and jumps up and down the tree repeatedly. ... show more

UPDATE 05/2023: The tree finally went down! My cat finally scratched through the scratch posts! 3 1/2 is WAY longer than I thought it would last. It was 100% worth the money and I have already ordered this exact same one! Will continue to purchase! Second photo is the new one I received, it has some updates but is just as sturdy and I love it! Had this cat tree for almost 3 years (Jan 2020), with an xl cat (16lbs). He loves it and we even use it to store his toys/treats. He scratches it every day and still has plenty of places to scratch. Set up was super easy and I had it done in 20 minutes. It’s easy for him to use and get to different levels, even being a bigger cat. He was about 24 lbs when we first adopted him.
