I don't know what it is about this cat tree in particular but it's magic I have tried EVERYTHING to get Dandelion to use a cat tree, this is attempt FOUR, and she loves it!😭❤️ she's a medium sized cat and it's the perfect size! I got this to go next to my desk in my home office so the cat can hang around while I work. Cat is 13 pounds and barely but successfully can lay on the top part and sleep. She will spend the entire day sleeping on it and getting the occasional ear scratching until I finish working. She also likes the soft rolled edge and will knead on it. She hasn't been in the closed in part below ever, totally wouldn't fit in it. But for what I got it for, I just needed an elevated spot for her to hang out where she could look out the window or sleep, and this does that perfectly. If the sleeping platform were a little longer it would be even better but she can lay down on it. If she was any bigger she wouldn't fit.

I think the five month old kitten is just too young to enjoy the lounging aspect of the item. Maybe when he gets a little older. Looks great once put together but putting it together was not easy at all. Definitely takes two people and a lot of patience!

I have two very big boys (one is 16 lbs, the other 18 lbs) and it's difficult to find solid cat trees and loungers that will accommodate their size. Both fit on the top (the picture is of the smaller one), but just barely. They've both tried the cave, but it's just too small for their liking. It was incredibly easy to assembly, but I've knocked off one star because the two pieces that connect the top to the base aren't covered at all, so it just looks "incomplete." Other than that, the cats seem to enjoy it (you can see from the amount of hair on it!), it's held up so far, and it was very reasonably priced. Overall, I'm pleased

The quality is great, didn’t want anything to bulky or flimsy that fall over. Sturdy and both my adult cats loved it before I even finished building it. Was also very easily assembled. Will be ordering another for upstairs!

Easy to assemble even with long nails lmao! But also my cat is 12 pounds pretty hefty and it’s been sturdy and she jumps off and on a lot ! especially the big bed on top it’s pretty big to lay on ! She loves it !!!

I have a great cat condo I wanted to keep using, but one piece I didn't like on the right side was a bit small at the top so I removed it and in it's place added this. Merged 2 cat condos with zip ties into one perfect thing lol. I wanted an extra cave as they both try to claim the single one I had and I wanted the top bed to be as big and secure as possible and it is! Now both cats have their own hideaway and they each actually fit into them as they cuddle up into a ball. They still have a bit of space to snuggle too. Tuxedo kitty loves sleeping at the top and he needed to be able to stretch out. This is big and I could only find a few this size. The padding at the edge is very nice too. My cats need an edge to keep them from falling off. The one that night sleeps there stretches out, is clumsy and very sleek so if he stretches around too much he can slide right off! The edge is deep enough that it prevents that. And the sleeping space was still bigger on the top then I thought it would be. Another thing is the height below the house, I wasn't sure how high that actually was and needed the cats to be able to go up there to the bed on the left so they can get to the top. Under the condo part was more roomy then I thought so it works great for them to climb up. Also like that it has an extra post under it in the back especially since its been zip tied to another condo. The whole thing is still very sturdy. It is cool the way it sits at an angle which worked out nicely for my design. Also wanted a good price and this one was up to 20.00 less then one which was the same design but different brand. Now I have a new cat tree set up with little investment and the best configuration for my 4 cats to use. (And the stuffed animals placed on it by grandkiddos). My 17month old grand daughter was helpful putting this together, tossing pieces at me when she thought I needed them and watching every move, trying out the top piece as it sat on the floor to see if it was "napable", then bringing all her dolls over to use it lol. Point being that I still put it together very fast, instructions are easy. Cats were very excited and went to it immediately. Grandgirl was proud of her accomplishment : ) No one asked me to review this, I did not receive an offer or invite, just wanted to share thoughts after a weekend of trying to find one that had exactly what I was looking for and then some.
