Built well, sturdy; rod does not bend easily, heats up quickly, have used similar type heated handheld cutters in the past and this is by far the best. Well worth the money.

I been cutting one inch foam insulation, in angles, this thing just worked for me just fine. I guess I got good product.

This does not get nearly hot enough. I tried with both and I had to go super slow. I needed this for a client project and don't have the time to return it and wait for another one. Very disappointed. I was expecting this to slice through the foam like butter. No luck. Ended up using a break away blade. ... show more
