I picked up the iBayam 3-Pack 8″ Heavy Duty Scissors with Ultra Sharp Blades and Comfort Grip Handles because I needed reliable scissors for everything from office tasks to sewing and craft projects — and this set has exceeded my expectations. Right out of the package, these scissors are surprisingly sharp. I tested them on a variety of materials — paper, cardstock, fabric, plastic packaging, and even thin cardboard — and they sliced through everything cleanly with minimal effort. The blades stay aligned and smooth, meaning no frustrating jagged cuts or tugging. For craft foam and layered fabric they were impressively effective; for paper they felt effortless. The handles are really where these stand out. The comfort grip design makes them easy to hold and reduces hand fatigue, even after extended cutting sessions. I have a tendency to get sore hands with stiffer scissors, but these feel light in hand and very ergonomic. I was pleasantly surprised by these scissors; they’re sharp, sturdy, and comfortable to handle. I have special (expensive) scissors for sewing and other tasks, but I’ve used these for cutting very delicate fabrics in a pinch , and honestly they did a great job. I have fairly large, arthritic hands, and they’re still easy for me to handle.
