These are a good quality set of scissors. I had bought some in the past but had to replace the old ones. They were used for other purposes than a scissors and ruined the cutting edge. A family member used this to cut heavy wire and ended up scoring the cutting edge (for that, he should have used the wire cutter but grabbed whatever was closest at the time). Hard to understand the negative reviews for these scissors. They're very stylish and very sharp. They feel great in my hand. They are not at all hard to open and close. They just feel like a good pair of scissors should feel. At less than $3/pair, this is a wonderful purchase.

These are not extremely high quality scissors, but they do the job reasonably well. I found them to be sharp and easy to use. I cut a lot of cloth and these worked well without "binding" up like some do. At the low cost if these last just a few years they will be well worth the money.
