Ordered this to put in our playroom, low enough to the ground so I dont have to worry about little kids falling off if he is not careful. Please note this does not include the hook that goes into the wall, you will need to go to hardware store to buy them. My son enjoyed it the last few days we have it set up and now it is where he prefers to do his daily reading (a lot of mom-assigned reading now the entire city is under quarantine because of the Coronavirus). Overall very please with the purchase. Edit: We have been using this for a few weeks now, even added a ceiling hook in our living room so my son can watch TV in the hammock chair. Did notice it seems to be lower to the ground, guessing the ropes may have stretched out a bit, but still feels very sturdy. My only concern now is how I am going to clean this, I think I can only spot clean because everything is all tied together...but my son spends at least 2-3 hours in there (he watches his videos from school everyday in the hammock chair too). View the attached video and pic to see how the hammock is now an addition to my bedroom for a reading corner. I sit in it very comfortably and I’m a 5”1’ 150 lb woman. I love the additional pocket for books or a drink with a top on it. I hired someone to install after attempting to do myself (independent woman lol) and it was a very quick installation and I used the suggested hardware to install. After listening to my daughter beg me for a hammock in her room for over a year, I finally gave in. She ordered it and I installed. Put an 8" 4x4 across the ceiling joist to spread the load and made the hanger out of a piece of 1/2-28 all-thread rod and and old eye bolt I welded to it. Out of the box, up on the ceiling in minutes. Smiles all around. She's very happy with it. Loves the pocket. I'm also assuming it will go to the lake with us. Un hook it and take it with ya. This is a great hammock - comfortable, stylish and sturdy. We also been pleased with their customer service. The first one we received was slightly crooked when hanging so we contacted the seller for a new one! We returned the crooked one and they sent a replacement straight away! We've already had the hammock hanging for several months and haven't noticed any real wear to it. We have ours hanging in a covered porch so it stays pretty dry; however, I believe when it's really raining hard it gets a little wet and we've noticed that the wood bar across the top gets moldy. This doesn't change the functionality of the hammock, but wanted to mention as it's the only downside we've notice so far. Highly recommend! ... show more

This hammock chair has been one of our families best purchases, we’ve had it for about a year and a half and it is still holding up nicely. We use it year-round, but we don’t leave it outside more than a day or two in a row. Little kids play on it, heavier adults sit in it… It’s just great for everyone! The media could not be loaded. I ordered two hammock chairs to hang in our tree. They are a very peacful and relaxing to sit in. Sturdy, comfortable. We replace the chain the hammock chair comes with and my husband bought a couple long, heavy duty chains from Walmart to hang from our high tree limbs. We've been in them every day. Great way to unwind after a stressful day. Our 11 and 14 year old kids love them too. My daughter fell asleep in one a couple of times. These are so worth the price. Get it! ... show more

A Christmas gift for my lady. She absolutely loves it. It should be noted that it does not come with any mounting hardware aside from the S connector that it hangs upon. I think I may have read that in previous comments and had preemptively bought some alongside this purchase. I bought it almost a month ago just to be ready as a Christmas gift so a little fuzzy on the details. Definitely had to use some of my own rope to bring it down a bit in height as it was way off the ground. For reference, the ceiling was about 8 feet high. Only personal wish would be that I wish the wooden bar was a little wider to allow more space on the sides while sitting, but alas this is not for me, and my lady very much likes the almost hugging aspect of it.
