Water heater looks good. Kind of a pain getting it hooked up and mounted. Exhaust pipe is 4 inch and has screening over it so I had to fabricate an exhaust pipe to fit it. Threads on the fittings are pretty rough, so requires tightening very tight, but there are no nuts to hold the existing pipe coming out of the heater. Took several tries to get the water fittings tight, without twisting the lines inside the heater. Seems to heat ok so far. ... show more

    • Should not be sold in US with out the correct flare fitting, hose and regulator!
this heater's gas hookup comes with a push on nipple and no gas hose or regulator and an instruction manual that is literally not worth the paper it is written on. I had a hose and regulator, actually several but all have female flare connection, went to hardware store and they had nothing that would adapt. to it. I'm not willing to cut a hose assembly just to try and see if the sketchy push on fitting will work. I returned it and bought another one from a different Amazon vendor. it came with the regulator assembly and the correct flare fitting already installed on the heater. It was 20.00 more. So don't buy this unusable incomplete pile, buy one with a gas hose and regulator that is setup and ready to use, to save yourself some grief. ... show more

I dis like this product for almost lighting my house on fire.. I did all the steps necessary except for read the reviews . And now I have a unit that cease itself into garbage.. the gas valve was glued all the way open so first thing out of the box it warmed up alright it also singed all of my face off .. I think I'll be filling a lawssuite ... show more

The GPM on this water heater is perfect. I previously bought one at about the same price, but the internal plumbing burst after a hard freeze. Don’t judge my craftsmanship on this picture - it’s not finished; I just have it usable at the moment. The only thing I’ve noticed about the heater I don’t love is the digital readout of the water temperature. The readout is in Celsius instead of Fahrenheit, but I’ve learned that on a colder day, I prefer 40C. It’s a great water heater at a great price. I also didn’t love the wand, so I bought a more substantial one from my local store. Update - February 20, 2024 I tried to use the water heater this morning and it won't turn on. It attempts to light, but it never does. There is also a new propane tank installed that is full, so it is not empty. ... show more
