  • easy to zip and comfortable to wear
Color: Mens Shorty Black Size: X-Large
this was great! It did make me with I was slimmer but it defiantly kept me warm on our trip to Cabo San Lucas this last February. It was comfortable while in the water and easy to get on and off because it had a long strap on the zipper that allowed you to zip it by yourself.

  • Good Full Wetsuit with Short Sleeves
Color: Mens Shorty Black Size: Large
This short-sleeve wetsuit looks nice and is made of neoprene. Neoprene is flexible, water-resistant, temperature-resistant, and insulates well. The stitching is good with no loose, hanging, or skipped threads. The material is thick and feels well-made. Along with my wife, I went to the beach today to swim. I brought with me a few wetsuits, and I tried them all. This suit is thick and should insulate well. However, being 5 feet 11 inches but weighing only about 273 lbs., I am quite slender; therefore, the sleeves are not tight around my upper arms and thighs, allowing water in, but it was not that bad. While walking along the beach, my wife jokingly told me that my skinny legs made me look like SpongeBob SquarePants. Before the pandemic, I had been swimming in the ocean for roughly ten years, twice a week, from the beginning of January to the end of December. I am always happy at the beach. I always swam in the frigid Pacific Ocean water with only a swim trunk. During the winter months, I was most of the time the only person in the water without a wetsuit on that stretch of beach. Every time I came out of that cold water, I felt revitalized; I felt like my internal battery had been fully recharged; I felt great. Then that healthy and fun routine was disrupted by the pandemic. After it was over, I tried to go back to that healthy routine, but filial duty took priority. Since I cannot take care of my parents well if I am not healthy, I am planning my way back to the ocean to swim. However, after a few years of minimal exercise on top of getting older, I cannot take the cold water that well anymore. Besides, cold water increased blood pressure. Low temperatures constrict blood vessels, making it harder for blood to flow, thus increasing their pressure. Therefore, if you have high blood pressure like I do, cold temperatures are not your friend, so please be careful. This wetsuit is one of the items that will help me make my way back to the cold Pacific Ocean to swim. This short-sleeve wetsuit did not keep me warm well, but it was because of me being too skinny. For the people who are more buffed than I am, this short-sleeve wetsuit should be good to them; therefore, based on the quality of this wetsuit, it gets a 4-star rating from me. ... show more

This is high quality and thick fabric, great for paddle boarding and kayaking in warm weather. Snug fit with good insulation and great design with strong zipper.

  • NIce shorty wetsuit
Color: Mens Shorty Black Size: Small
I've been wearing this for ocean swimming and it works well. I like not having my legs covered - I can swim easier. Back zip is easy, comfortable fit.

  • Reasonable fit
Color: Mens Shorty Black Size: Small
Let me start by saying my last wetsuit zipped in front...which will tell you how long it's been. This is a good wetsuit for cool (not cold) water. My previous wetsuit, which I wore (with a vest) in ice water, was 1/4", which would be about 8mm... this is 3mm. But for most purposes, this is the thickness you'd want--let's say diving in Hawaii, or in Florida any time except summer (when you probably don't need a wetsuit at all). Also know that if you're SCUBA diving, wet suits compress as you get deeper, and therefore provide less insulation. That won't matter if you're snorkeling, and also won't matter if you're SCUBA diving on shallow reefs. This suit should also be good for surfing or other such sports, although I've only been diving. If (like me) you want to dive down when snorkeling, you might need a small weight belt, especially in salt water. But if you stay at the surface, of course no belt. Fit: I'm 5' 7 or 8", about 140 lbs.: slim. The men's size small fits tight around my legs, hips and arms, less tight over most of my torso, and rather loosely at the top of the chest; if there was one thing I'd change, it would be to remove a little of the material from just below the neck. I've seen other reviewers say different things about the fit, so take my say-so for what it's worth. Zipper: good, although I could wish the lanyard were a few inches longer (maybe my shoulders are getting stiff with old age...). Of course I could fix that by tying a short rope or a stick on the end of the existing lanyard. Don't forget to use the Velcro closure at the neck (and remove the little piece of cloth on it, which I guess is for keeping it clean during shipping). Seams also seem very good, I don't expect to be tearing this (unlike my old wetsuit). Recommended. ... show more

This wetsuit fits wonderfully and is made very well. I use it while kayaking in colder water, and it has done the trick so far.

  • Great shorty suit for a great price
Color: Mens Shorty Black Size: 4X-Large
My husband is a windsurfer and stays out later in the season then he should and starts earlier than he should. He's got dry suits, and wetsuits but hasn't used shorty suits that often. Thus he waits a little longer than he should because full wets suits get too warm in late summer and early fall when water temps are lower but air temps are not. At any rate I got this for him, and he's used it a couple times so far. He likes it so far with the only criticism being the zipper lanyard is a little too short. Not a huge issue as I sewed on a little extension for him. All his other full suits and dry suits are O'Neil suits and his comment on this one was that he was surprised at how nice this suit it for the price. While the lanyard wasn't long enough he said the zipper was great and very smooth operating. Overall nice fit and he plans on using it a little longer this fall and then again in early summer once the water warms up a little. ... show more
