Was easy to put together even though nothing is actually marked. Did not smell funny but was very firm. The seat was almost hard and was not comfortable at all. The chair leaned forward no matter what I tried to do. The leg rest also had no support and lead forward as well. The whole chair seemed like it was made for a child, no way this thing is supporting 400 lbs like it says. I am 250 and I felt like I was going to fall. Add that the levers are extremely hard to reach Especially the one for the back, you almost have to get out of the chair to use it. Had high hopes but they were dashed pretty quickly. Chair looks great but the base is too small. Every time I try to roll, wheels come off the ground. Arm rests don't seem to be solid. They are tightened to the frame but they seem like they can't take any weight...and I push up with my arms when I move. It's OK but would not buy again.

    • Beautiful chair
Chair is comfortable and looks very nice. Assembly was a bit challenging, as there are some very sharp pieces on the round ends of the ottoman. Without warning, I was moving another piece and gouged my arm with one of these very sharp pieces, leaving a very deep, gaping wound. It was frustrating to deal with - and put me on guard for the rest of the chair assembly. Since there are no instructions, and no covers for these pieces, I put some gorilla-type tape over these sharp pieces, as they are not visible once the chair is assembled. The chair is very nice, though a bit difficult to adjust. I believe it will loosen up once I have used it for awhile. I have it set for my body height and distance to the desk for now, but when it needs adjusting for my wife at the keyboard it will be difficult for her to reach the bar to adjust the seat-back (it is too far back to reach while sitting for her). The chair is comfortable and the fabric is nice. It would have been good to have a bit more quality control for the sharp edges and some better instructions, not just rudimentary pictures for assembly. I am overall happy with the finished product. 4/5 stars and maybe a tetanus shot. ... show more

The back support for this chair was weak, it bent at the bolted connection 2 days after it arrived. I've bought MANY of chairs in my days and this one is the first one EVER to have this issue. With all the use out of a chair, even a cheap 100 dollar chair gets me a year of use. 2 days after being assembled and the back bar already bent at the bolt hole. Thank God I'm a welder or this would be a bigger problem. It does not excuse the reliability of a newly purchased product. I've even rewelded chair frames in my past, but I at least got a chance to wear it out... Pathetic product at best. Not only would I not recommend it, I would completely avoid it! ... show more

Product was easy to put together and sturdy, but the cushioning was very hard. Hard support foam. Also back support bump at the bottom was too low for my back.

    • So uncomfortable!!!
This chair is absolutely horrible. It is so uncomfortable. The seat slightly leans forward and the back of the chair pushes forward as well, so you can't get comfortable at all. I do not recommend to anyone..
