The product appears to be fine and operates properly for what it was intended, however there were problems with the shippment of the unit. Apparently there was signs of an oil leak and the unit was returned to sender as undeliverable. After waiting a long time after expected delivery tracked the shippment to discover the reasons. I posted a neutral response to the seller since I felt it may not be thier fault, however no one had contacted me at this point to let me know what had happened. A short time later I received an email from the seller explaining what had happened and offered a 10% discount for my trouble if they could send the unit back to me, promising it was not damaged, if I would remove the neutral rating on Amazon which I did do. The 10% discount was never applied to my charge card and phone calls to the seller were not returned including a hang up after being on hold for 10 minutes. My assessment of this seller is not good since they did not do what they had promised and I will not purchase anything from them in the future.

This little pump is awesome, so much lighter than the Robinair. It pulls a vacuum in half the time too. Its a great buy and I recommend it to all HVAC and refrigeration people.

Bought 6 of these for our work. First 3 had to be returned after first use. With 2 of them, it wouldn't pull a deep enough vacuum for what we needed. The 3rd one the motor seized. Ideal gave me credit and I returned them. Now I have one more that came back with a seized motor. It is pass the 90 day warranty and they denied me credit. Still have 2 out there but think I will see them soon for the same issues. It is a good price but not worth it if they don't do what they claim it should do. Cheaper is not always better in this case.
