At 5 ML, it's not the thickest tarp out there, but it holds up well for that thickness. Decent grommets and supports on the corners for a longer life. I use this to cover loads in the bed of my truck, using an elastic cargo net on top to keep the tarp from blowing away, and it works well. I have a hard time finding green tarps that are all green on at least one side. We live in the forest, and it's nice to cover the summer stuff with a tarp that blends in. (I'll never understand why the standard color for tarps is bright blue.) This tarp is pretty standard in every respect. I detect no flaws in its construction. If you have used a ply tarp before, you have a pretty good idea what this one is like. It doesn't have the nylon/plastic gussets that some others have, but most 5 mil tarps I have seen don't have them I often use tarps under the load when I pick up gravel are rocks. After shoveling much of the gravel, I then slide the rest of the load out by pulling on the tarp. Five mil tarps like these are good for about three or four loads before they start to get holes in them. If you are planning on a use like the above, look for eight mil or heavier tarps. Around here, it's rare to see a green tarp in the stores, and when I do, they are usually a lighter brighter green. I like that this one is all green on one side and the it is a more natural green color. Typically I give four stars to products that meet expectations. To get a fifth star, a product needs to stand out in some way. This is a four star product.

Everything you'll ever want in a lightweight tarp. The size was perfect for what I ordered it for - to protect the inside of my SUV while schlepping lawn debris to the yard waste site. There was a little off-gassing when I first unfolded it, which is to be expected I guess. The grommets are positioned and affixed well.

This is a good tarp. It is not super heavy, but not really thin either so it should last a good while. It is woven. The grommets are set well. But what I really like about it is the color. It is nice to have a color other than blue, silver, or black so I can identify it immediately from my others.

Put this over a pile of fire wood for a few weeks - worked great. No damage noted. Then I used it to put over a lawnmower - again, stood up to winds, rain, and even a bunch of smaller tree branches landing on it. I will be purchasing more.

I selected this 5mil thick 8 by 10 foot green/brown tarp primarily for camping and hiking and it is exactly as expected. In production steps were taken to reinforce the edges which are heat sealed, rope reinforced and have rust-proof metal grommets installed every 3 feet. It is light in weight but sturdy so it is easy to transport if camping or boating--or maneuver into place and has numerous uses. It may either be staked down, tied with ropes or zip tied to secure wherever needed. Very good mid-level tarp. .
