I know that these Xtratuf Men's 6 Inch Ankle Deck Boots are designed to be used in commercial or sport fishing, but I grabbed a pair to have for rainy days where I just needed shoes that wouldn't get soaked on rainy days. I really don't like to have to wear traditional rain boots because they are difficult to put on and generally overkill for just daily activities. I generally would just tough it out with my regular shoes and wind up with wet feet. After searching for low-profile rain boots, I came across these boots and purchased them immediately. These deck boots proved to be a great alternative right out of the box. They are incredibly comfortable, lightweight, and perfect for all sorts of outdoor activities. In fact, I use them when I take my kids tidepooling and creekwalking. Since they are low tops, they breathe easily and don't make my feet hot or sweaty with physical activity. The quality and durability are impressive, and they keep my feet dry. If you're looking for reliable, comfortable, and waterproof boots, these are a great choice. Highly recommended! ... show more

Can't say how much I love these boots. I wanted a pair for a long time but everywhere I look they were so expensive. Amazon had them so much cheaper than anywhere else. And the exact same boots. I have large feet so boots are hard for me to find that fit well. Try these on in the store and love them but couldn't afford the price. Very comfortable and keeps feet dry and cool. I would have given 5 stars, however boots are a little narrow and I do not normally wear a wide in any shoes. Maybe with more wear they will expand a little more.
