Nice affordable alternative
This is an affordable programmable TPMS sensor. Note that it must be programmed by XTOOL’s programming tool. I took the tire and the sensor to a local used tires shop and had them replace the old sensor for $20. After the relearn process, the sensor works as promised. I don’t know how long the battery will actually last though XTOOL claims to have long life on par with the factory sensors. So far, it is working very well for my 2013 Prius. ... show more

The wife is now happy! (for now anyway)
I have had a tough go at trying to replace the TPMS in my 2016 Toyota Highlander. I bought the XTool computer first in hopes to get the previous set of sensors to work and it was just not meant to be. After I bought these I was a bit nervous but they were easy to program with the Xtool computer and were a lot easier to install than I thought they would be. Again having the right tools is the way to go. In the end I have spent about $100 less doing it myself than having it done but I have gained the capability to do it myself for as long as my spine holds out. I highly recommend these. Replacement TPMS
My wife’s car needed a 433mhz sensor, I had purchased the xtool TPMs programmer and found one non-responsive. Purchased a single sensor, had my tire guy swap it in and I programmed it and commanded a OEM reset/relearn. Less than 5 miles down the road, all four sensors read on the dash accurately. My original issue was no sensors responding on the dash. This happens to Subarus when one is not working. The Xtool programmer and this sensor fixed my problem! ... show more

Small learning curve But easy to do
I'm rewriting my review. I had issues at first with programming the sensors to my vehicle but it took a bit of a learning curve. Once you figure it out, it's easy. Although one or 2 of the sensors failed a couple times to program. Once the new sensors are installed, need to auto-create ID for each sensor then trigger each one. Once all is done, I pushed the relearn obd and it pushed the sensor data to the obd. Drove for a couple minutes at speed (50-60mph) and it was done. No more tire pressure light. ... show more

These sensors have dual frequencies and can be activated for many vehicles. I purchased them to replace and relearn TPMS sensors on my 2010 Honda Odyssey. I also purchased the XTool TP150 to activate and relearn the sensors. You usually need to inflate the tire with the sensor in it to activate it, though I was able to activate one out of box and it was very responsive. Both the sensor and valve stem feel great quality and they fit nicely and firmly on my original Honda rim. Great product! ... show more
