  • Engrave 50+ Surfaces, One Pen: A 5-speed motor (12,00025,000 RPM) lets you dial in the right touch for metal, wood, glass, and plastic, plus leather, ceramic, stone, and jewelry so the same cordless engraving pen handles everything from etching a glass tumbler to personalizing a steel knife or carving a wood sign.
  • Steady Enough for Beginners: With 160 gfcm of anti-twist torque and a CNC-machined bearing and drive shaft, the engraving pen tip stays precise and vibration-free instead of skipping across the surface so first-timers can write clean letters and fine detail, and pros get repeatable accuracy on hard materials.
  • Engrave, Cut, Polish, and Drill 42-in-1 Kit: One tool, 5 jobs. This engraving tool kit includes 24 diamond burrs for glass, ceramic, and stone, 3 tungsten-steel bits for steel and bone, wool/rubber/grinding heads for polishing, twist drills for thin wood and jewelry, plus saw blades everything you need to engrave, etch, grind, polish, and cut out of the box.
  • Work Anywhere, Even in the Dark: The rechargeable cordless engraver runs on battery and supports pass-through use, so you can charge and engrave at the same time and never stop mid-project. A ring of 4 white LEDs around the tip lights up as it spins, so you can see every detail in low light.
  • Safe, Simple, and Gift-Ready: Smart overload and short-circuit protection stops the motor within 10 seconds under excessive resistance to prevent burnout. One-button on/off and a 5-bar speed indicator make this rotary engraving tool foolproof, while the 100g aviation-grade aluminum body feels as light as a pen in hand a thoughtful gift for crafters and DIY makers.

  • Easy to use
Very happy with this purchase. I was surprised that the included tools work well on stone. Most other products send tools that won’t touch things like stone. I had no trouble engraving designs on some tiger eye that I polished. The tools also fit my dremel if I decide to use it on heavier projects. It’s better than I expected for the price. It holds power well and charges fast ... show more

  • I love it! Very convenient and quiet.
This little unit is making my life a lot easier. I drill things often for my work, often I'm drilling into bone or claws. I normally use my big powerful Foredom drill but it's loud and this little pen is quiet, it only makes a little whir. That means I can drill while chatting online or listening to podcasts, which is more enjoyable and productive. The power is not as high as my big Foredom unit but it's enough for a lot of my smaller projects. Also the included higher end bits on the bottom tier worked out great and I found one that works better than my regular bits. This makes me extremely happy to have a better tool for work. The drill pen itself is small and can just sit on the side of my desk, just gotta remember to charge it regular but it's right next to the computer so plugging in to the USB is easy. The pen has a lighted line on the side that shows current charge levels, plus the light coming out of the front makes it easier to see items to drill, although it 's not a huge amount and you may still want additional lighting for tricky jobs. This unit has pretty decent power for a tiny battery operated thing, it's more than I expected. It rotates smoothly with no run out at all that I can see. Drilling feels very smooth. The one downside I really dislike is it only takes 2mm diameter shaft bits, I can't use my other smaller or larger bits, although we are going to try to figure out a sleeve so I can use my 1mm bits. Overall I really am not sure on the current standard cost for electric drill pens but the current price of $50 has certainly been worth it for me personally. ... show more

  • Precise 5-Speed Engraving Pen with Excellent Accessories and Strong DIY Versatility
This xTool Selected engraving pen is a very capable compact rotary tool if you want something more refined than a basic budget engraver but do not need a full-size rotary tool. The biggest strength is control. The five speed settings range from 12,000 to 25,000 RPM, which gives you much more flexibility than a single-speed engraving pen. Lower settings make more sense for delicate work and finer detail, while higher speeds are useful for harder materials and more aggressive engraving or grinding. Precision is also one of the better parts. The anti-twist torque and machined internal components help the tip feel steadier instead of skipping across the surface as easily. That matters a lot for lettering, small patterns, glass etching, jewelry work, and other detail-focused projects. The accessory variety is excellent. This is more than just an engraving pen because the kit includes bits and heads for engraving, polishing, grinding, cutting, and drilling. The 42-piece setup gives enough variety to work on metal, wood, glass, plastic, leather, ceramic, stone, jewelry, and other craft materials. The built-in LED lights around the tip are genuinely useful. Being able to see the exact contact point makes detail work easier, especially on darker materials or in less-than-perfect lighting. The cordless design adds a lot of convenience. It is easier to move around a project without a cord dragging across the work area, and I like that it can also be used while charging so a dead battery does not automatically end the project. Comfort is good because the aluminum body is lightweight and more pen-like than a bulky full-size rotary tool. That makes it easier to hold for detail work and longer sessions. Ease of use is strong. The one-button operation and visible speed indicator make it beginner-friendly without making it feel too basic for more experienced DIY users. The main caveat is price. At around sixty dollars, this costs noticeably more than many entry-level engraving pens. The value makes more sense if you will actually use the broader accessory set, variable speeds, built-in lighting, and more controlled motor performance. Overall, this is a well-designed cordless engraving pen with good precision, strong versatility, useful lighting, and an excellent accessory kit. I would recommend it for crafters, DIY projects, personalized gifts, jewelry, glass etching, wood, metal, and anyone who wants a more polished engraving tool than the cheapest basic options. ... show more

  • Very compact yet effective
A rotary tool is extremely useful for small grinding and shaping jobs. With a typical tool of this kind, one becomes accustomed to fetching a moderately sized toolbox, sometimes also a box of accessory attachments, finding a spot to plug it in and work, and then putting the needed pieces together. This tool allows a much abbreviated version of that process, where one simply pulls out a single, small box, takes the tool and needed attachment out, secures the attachment in the tool, and turns the tool on to grind, engrave, or cut. Plug it into USB while working if you want. Five rotation speeds are available, and the action is smooth and low in vibration. Clearly, this little tool does not have the torque of a larger rotary tool, but it is a delight for small, finely delicate tasks where the cutting to be done is significant and yet you are able to do the work with a very light, pencil-sized tool that you simply pulled out of your pocket. I like this tool because it is handy: easy to store conveniently, easy to carry, easy to pull out, easy to set up, and easy to use. I keep my regular rotary tool pretty close, because it is good for so many things and basically pretty light and easy to use, but when the work is relatively small, it is far less trouble to pull out this excellent tool and work as if you are doing no more than using a fat pencil. Very pleased with this product. Oh, and I often wish that kits like this had a small extra compartment for the charging cord. As usual, this kit does not. However, I found that if I carefully snake the cord around the attachments, I can get it to fit in the case. Ultra-compact tools like this are nice to have. ... show more

  • Awesome Cordless Engraving Pen
I recently started using this xTool Selected Engraving Pen for various DIY engraving and crafting projects, and it has quickly become one of my favorite tools. The 5-in-1 rotary design offers impressive versatility. Here’s my complete breakdown: Build Quality and Design The pen has a solid, ergonomic feel with a nice weight balance that makes it comfortable for detailed work. The cordless design gives excellent freedom of movement. The included storage case is sturdy and keeps all the bits organized and protected. Performance and Power With adjustable speeds from 12,000 to 25,000 RPM and strong anti-twist torque, this tool performs well across many surfaces. It handles glass, wood, metal, plastic, leather, and more without struggling. The motor is relatively quiet for its power level and doesn’t overheat during extended sessions. I was able to create clean, precise engravings on multiple materials. Bits and Accessories The kit comes with a good variety of engraving bits that cover different tasks — fine detailing, deeper cuts, and surface marking. Changing bits is quick and secure. Having everything in one organized case makes switching between projects convenient. Battery Life and Usability Battery runtime is solid for most hobby sessions. It recharges reasonably fast and holds power well. The one-button speed control is simple to use, even while wearing gloves or working in different positions. Overall Impressions This xTool engraving pen is a high-quality, versatile rotary tool that delivers professional-level results for crafters, makers, and DIYers. The cordless convenience, power, and included accessories make it a great all-around choice for engraving on 50+ surfaces. I’m very impressed with its performance and would recommend it to anyone looking for a capable handheld engraver. ... show more

  • A handy cordless engraving pen for detailed maker projects
I do a lot of laser engraving projects, and this xTool engraving pen has become a really useful tool to have alongside my other equipment. It is perfect for cleaning up small details, adding touchups after engraving, and handling smaller projects where pulling out a full size rotary tool would be overkill. The cordless design makes it easy to grab and use without dealing with a power cord getting in the way. The different speed settings give you better control depending on the material, and the included attachments make it useful for more than just engraving. I have used tools like this for polishing, grinding, and light carving work, and having all of those options in one kit makes it much more versatile. The pen style design is comfortable to hold and gives you better precision than a traditional rotary tool for detailed work. The built in light is also a nice feature since it helps you see exactly where the bit is working, especially on smaller pieces. For anyone who enjoys crafting, engraving, or DIY projects, this is a great addition to a maker setup. It will not replace a larger rotary tool for heavy duty jobs, but for detailed work, quick adjustments, and small projects, it is exactly the type of tool I like having within reach. ... show more

  • Great tool for small/fine detail work.
I really like the small size and compact storage with the included case/accessories. I have a few rotary tools varying in size/power. This one is the smallest/lightest one I have encountered--it fits well in the had and is easy to wield. It's nice and quiet in use. The power is enough for light/high detail jobs and I think that's where it shines--touching up 3D prints, miniature models... For heavy cutting/grinding, it's pretty easy to bog down and I wouldn't recommend it for such. Dexterity and stability are very good. Interestingly, the motor control seems to servo the speed and tries to make up for the loading during use. This is something you don't see much even with higher-priced tools. The cordless operation and small size make it versatile for a range of needs. ... show more

  • great little tool set
xTool Selected Engraving Pen, Cordless 5-in-1 Rotary Tool. This kit has a lot of useful bits, for a variety of jobs. I have another xTool, that I like very much, it's a mini electric screwdriver. I also have another brand of etching tool, like this. xTool makes a quality product, with nice features. Compared to the other etching tool I have, the xTool has a much better case deisgn, allowing for neat storage of the bits and too. You can even get the included USB cable to fit in the case, and if you had additional bits, there is some room to loosely store them also. The tool charges with USB C through a port in the bottom, and there is an opening to charge the tool while it's in the case. There are 5 speed setting, which you adjust by simply turning the base of the tool. My other rotary tool is digital, and you have to be looking at it to see where to make adjustments, where as the xTool, you can adjust just by feel. The collet system is easy to tighten and loosen, and holds the bits nice and secure. It has a knurled double collar that is easy to grip, even for larger fingers. All-in all, a great little tool set. This would be a great gift too. ... show more
