Style: Heat Press Smart Kit
This was my first time using a heat press or HTV. This machine seemed complicated but it was actually very easy to use. All you really need to do is plug it in, snap in the little receiver dongle, pair with the temperature control and you're ready to go. There was a tiny bit of "hot iron smell" but it wasn't too strong. I like that the press has two handles, one on each side for more even pressing. It also makes it easy to pick up and put down. I have some arthritis and grip strength issues in my hands and this was very comfortable to use. It took a bit to heat up but nothing overly long. Maybe a minute or two. I like the little handheld temperature control. It's pretty easy to dial in the temp and time that you need. I didn't personally use the presets because they didn't match what I was using, but these would be very easy if you were doing a lot of shirts that needed the same settings. No need to dial them in each time. I tried glitter HTV and matte smooth HTV, both with no issues.

This heat press machine is pretty awesome. It does a great job with projects and is super easy to use even for beginners. There are two things I love that set this one apart from the rest. 1) It is a control pod which allows you to set the temperature and time fast and easily. The knobs are very smooth and easy to control and do not require you to cycle all the way around and back to the beginning if you overshoot your settings . 2) The handles on this press make it so easy to use and control and so much safer as well. They are easy to grip and make it automatic to apply even and consistent pressure while using. There are 4 presets that are convenient to use for projects that you do frequently. It can save time and prevent errors in settings which is very helpful. An overall impressive little handheld heat press machine.

As a crafter who uses several heat presses, I had to try this one, and I’m really impressed with the quality. I’ve made a few shirts, and the heat distribution is top-notch—no blank spots at all. The only downside is that I really wanted to purchase the attachment handle to enhance this press even more, but I couldn’t find it on their site. That’s an essential piece, and it’s a bit disappointing that it’s not available. Hopefully, they add it soon. Despite that, it’s still a great press!

This is a great tool! I love it and I'm giving it five stars but there is a but. This model can come with or without a press stand. After getting it and experiencing how great it is, I'd like to add the stand but can't seem to find how to purchase it separately. It works fine without it but in hindsight, I'd definitely splurge for the stand. I'm a complete beginner and now I've already run out and purchased other items so that I can print my own transfers and a vinyl cutter to work on vinyl transfers as well. This is the start of a terrible addiction.

This is really a great heat press. The 2 handles I like for a better press. It was easy to set up and adjust. Fast warm up, and I made a few cool things! Overall, I find this one of my best heat presses and so far.

Prior to this heat press, I had no experience whatsoever with this type of device. First off, it needs to be said that xTool's packaging is second to none. The foam packing ensured that everything arrived safely and in perfect condition. There was little to no assembly required, and after watching a couple YouTube videos I felt more than ready to give this tool a shot. It was so easy to learn and use, we had several pair of leather earrings done in no time. I'm looking forward to using this more and figuring out other ways to incorporate it into my current laser business, but for now I can confidently state that this machine will open up new avenues for our business to explore and I can't wait to use it again.
