If you want to double your engraving area with same precision, this is the perfect accessory for your D1 pro. There are informative videos to set it up. It saves a lot of hassles for bigger engrave/cutting projects. You can carve/engrave really long pieces and it increases so many possibilities with this tool. XTool also sells the enclosure for extension kit, which will safeguard your setup nicely. Definitely recommended if you want to take your projects to next level.

The media could not be loaded. This is the best 200 bucks you literally doubled the amount of money you can make on a project and I’ve noticed the most people want bigger size signs and that’s what I’ve been selling the most I do do pictures and mugs but the thing I sell the most our welcome signs with their name on it hope this helps you guys and girls

I received the laser but the extension kit has been stuck in transit which is very frustrating. I ordered all I needed including a computer and can’t even set anything up until I get the extension kit. I’m so very disappointed!

Easy to install, solid, great buy. Only issue is XTool doesn't allow change in axis parameter so it doesn't home properly past about 430 mm. Apparently very common and easy work around but still annoying to have to do
