I was using a 5 watt which everyone claimed could engrave stainless steel…I couldn’t get it to do it no matter what. I thought of upgrading to a 20 watt but my luck is still not be able too even after I’ve seen it done. The IR is nice to have and it will actually mark steel and even engrave aluminum. As for other metals….I didn’t test them yet. My conclusion is that it’s great for smaller projects since it still seems like it needs to be ran at a slower pace but it’s better than gambling with an unsure thing. ... show more

It would burn well then stop then start leaving parts of the burn out I checked all connections and other laser heads worked on gantry. Its not the first time its been reported I cant take a chance on it ruining a ring or something valuable. For the price it shouldnt be a hit or miss thing.

I connected everything the way it should’ve been and powered the laser on and it wouldn’t even work. Highly disappointed. Won’t buy again from the seller.

I bought mine from Xtool before it was available from Amazon. I totally agree with Buster. The results vary greatly from item to item. When it is right it looks awesome but the next item may be garbage and you only get one shot. If you have to buy it I recommend staying away from expensive items!
