  • Efficient and reliable power
Used this on another build before. I bought it for the high efficiency rating which helps improve thermals and generally indicates good build quality. Happy with the performance and have not run into any issues or overly loud fans. It would be nice if there were some PCI power cables that did not include a second power head but it does make it easier to run just 1 cable instead of 2. Plenty of power ports to support most builds. The dimensions should work for most ATX builds. ... show more

  • Awesome PSU at reasonable price point. Modular goodness and quiet.
Style: ATX 3.0 Gold 750W
Used in a new build with Ryzen 5 4500 and other assorted goodies. Have no complaints about this PSU. Have been running the new system about a month now and it is quiet and delivers the power without issues. The cables can be stiff so be aware of that. I really like the modular hookups and the carrying bag for unused cables. It's a great Power Supply so far. ... show more

  • Good PSU at an affordable price
Style: ATX 3.0 Gold 750W
As of now; running all my parts as it should. Low noise if any noise at all. Good Solid performance for an awesome price point. Cords are stiff at first but; you'll eventually work around that. Had no issues getting it in my rig. Quite pleased!

  • Solid unit, but full towers be cautious.
Unit came with everything I needed, and it's performing well. Only complaints are the thicker cables (24 pin, 8 pin cpu, 6+2) are VERY firm and not super flexible and the 8 pin cable is also a little shorter than what would likely be ideal. This made it very difficult to plug in to the motherboard AND reach the psu. Another inch or two would make things easier. If I was using a full tower rather than a mid tower, I don't think the cable reaches. If you are doing build with a full tower and ATX motherboard, I'd check the location of the PSU bay first. That said, great value for the price. ... show more

  • Very quiet, was recommended by Tom's Hardware
This review is for: XPG Core Reactor Modular PSU: 80 Plus Gold - ATX - Fully Modular Power Supply - 10 Year Warranty - 650 Watt. Overall: Quiet. Stable power. Tom's Hardware recommended. Due to the CPU line's length, would probably recommend another power supply if you want/need to route through a backplane. Otherwise won't be an issue. Review: A Tom's Hardware PSU review had this listed as a recommendation, so I bought it. Technically it was my second choice but seems to be good quality. My previous power supply was quite loud with a 30% load, but this one is very quiet. I do wish the CPU power cable was longer though. The non modular cables are also pretty stiff. I ended up having to route the CPU cable over the mother board instead using the backplane. My system hasn't had any stability issues. I mention this because the PSU is one component to not skimp on. Even decent brands can have problems with power dips, consistency on the various rails, or ripple. If I had to go back, I would probably choose another power supply with a longer CPU line. However, if you don't need to route cables on a backplane, it won't be an issue for you. ... show more

  • No issues so far!
This modular power supply works great with my external graphics card setup. It came well-packaged and with black braided cables, though the cables are quite stiff. It runs cool, likely because the fan runs continuously when powering the graphics card, even at low loads. When running AI models, either the PSU or the graphics card makes a slight buzzing noise. The standard form factor made installation a breeze. The PSU has a clean aesthetic too. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase. ... show more

  • RMA/Product Support does not exist
Style: ATX 3.0 Gold 750W
Similar to another reviewer I bought this PSU and within 4 months I started getting "Event ID 41: "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first" This has largely been cited as a issue found due to bad PSU's. Upon looking at Event Viewer on Windows (Windows Key + X -> Event Viewer -> Event Viewer Local -> Overview -> Critical) I saw I had 5 reboots in a matter of 1 hour. I went through a thorough set of instruction through Microsoft support pages and air-blew out my components with a vacuum to suck up dust but everything was to no avail, nothing worked. I am leaving this review now because Just a matter of minutes ago my PC started boot-looping but the most terrifying kind. The boot loop where it turns on the PC and immediately shuts off without even reaching the motherboard page to configure setting in the bios. It rebooted 5 times in the matter of 15 seconds, I turned the power off and for 3 minutes the PC was off. After the 3 minutes the PC power ITSELF on again and started doing the boot-looping again until I quickly pulled the plug. I have not since turned on the PC because I am praying that none of the components were damaged. ADATA who is the owner company of XPG is notoriously bad at RMA processing in which you recieve no answer and if you are lucky enough to it is after months of waiting. I did not purchase this component without research, it was on a PSU tier list I trusted but I will be letting the community know of my experience so they do not have to go through the stress of potentially damaging their computer and components on an expensive and claimed to be highly related death machine. ... show more
