Finally got around to installing a bunch of accessories I bought for my 2020 BMW X5 G05 X-drive 40i X-Line (some facelift features like I got the new rear bumper with mine but still laser lights and std front end) I measured the controller wheel as best I could with my tape measure and thought this product would fit given it looked like a similar controller setup to the ones in the pictures (just newer plastics and orange led lighting) Unfortunately this product did not fit and I tried as hard as I could to get it over the lip but I was not going to damage my controller stick/wheel, so I sadly had to return it. From what I'm guessing it would maybe work for the F15 (2013-2018 models) hopefully my review will help other buyers. Quality looks good, pretty standard double sided adhesive underneath, I was really hoping it was going to fit :-( Seller: sorry for the 2 star rating you should change your description from 2011 and later to put the more specific years it does work for. ... show more

This was difficult to stick on to the knob. For me, it added an unnecessary height to knob that fingers would catch and pull off. The adhesive wasnt adequate. This doesn't replace any part but is a layer on top of what already exists. I don't see this as a long lasting or practical accessory.
