This item is exactly as described and it provides a true panoramic view of the perimeter of my Prius. It does seem to show objects as being farther away than they actually are, which is common with such mirrors. It is a bit hard to keep the expandable arms open while installing it, so I cut two small sections of a paper clip to hold it in place which allowed me to position it perfectly. I highly recommend this unit, especially at the price. Other units are more expensive but I was please with the size I chose at the reasonable price. ... show more

I had one of these mirrors many years ago and unfortunately forgot it in a rental. I got a replacement but it didnt' attach in the same way and with the slightest bump it would fall off. So I'd always have to be careful opening the sun visors. I finally decided to replace that one and it is such a different. This is much easier to mount to the OEM mirror and stays put when you need to adjust the mirror for different drivers. The clamps are a bit stiff and needed more effort to attach than I expected, however that also means it has a tight grip on the OEM mirror. When I drive a vehicle without one of these wide angle mirrors, I feel like I'm at a disadvantage with blind spots. This is really helpful for minimizing blind spots.     • Loved it until it cracked!!
I absolutely loved this mirror, the view was amazing and made driving any other vehicle without it kind of annoying. But one day I got in and the was a vertical crack, nothing touched it so I don't know why it cracked. It held together pretty good but then I went to get in one morning a bunch had cracked and glass bits were everywhere. The price and the view are great esp for it's huge size but I'd be nervous buying another Goodyear one because of the spontaneous cracking. ... show more

This Goodyear 17" mirror is great. The only blind spot is when I blink! I have limited range of motion in my neck. This mirror makes it so easy to keep looking forward. I needn't rely on the side mirrors. The mirror was easy to install over the factory in my 2017 HONDA CRV.
