Mirror came perfectly packaged. It was super easy to install, pull out the bottom clips and hook it over your original rear view mirror. View is very crisp, clear and there is 100% anti glare. However, the mirror is convex. Now to some that might be just what you're looking for, but for others like myself, it is too much and takes me a second to adjust my eyes to it. Time that is just too long to be able to look quickly in the back before changing lanes, etc. It started giving me a headache looking normally out my windows and then back at the rear view mirror. I tried this mirror in tow vehicles, a large SUV and small hatchback. Construction quality is excellent. There is a nice weight and sturdiness to the mirror. In my SUV, the mount clips worked fine. I had to position them as not to clip on my OEM mirror remote buttons. The mirror definitely improved seeing the blind spots but I noticed it made the objects appear further away compared to the OEM mirror and side view mirrors. Not really an issue as you just need to adapt to the view. I tries to install in my Subie hatchback but the mirror mounts were too narrow to fit the middle section of my OEM compass mirror. Ultimately I decided to purchase another mirror due to the mounting issue. Other than that I'd recommend buying this mirror. ... show more

Why are these not mandatory on all cars? Such a better field of view. Clips on my rear view mirror easily and weighs very little. How many accidents could be avoided if everyone had this! My driveway is on a busy street and backing out is much easier since I have almost zero blind spots now. So many people are moving to my area and the roads are getting congested and people are driving more recklessly. This mirror helps me monitor my sides and rear view much easier. I like the mirrow. When I first pulled it from the container, I thought it was a bit hedious, but installed, it looks quite nice, and completely hides the existing mirrow. Now, obviously, when viewing from outside the vehicle (front view) you can see how it extends past the existing mirrow. That doesn't bother me. It provides field of view as advertised. I do notice too that if someone is sitting in the front passenger seat, I can see a lot of them because it provides such a wide view. I got use to it and learned to look at a part of the mirrow or adjust to reduce that effect. I only gave it 4 stars because no instructions were included. It took me a minute or two to figure it out. I find that it's not designed to completely clip around the existing mirrow. My mirrow is quite thick, so I thought I would need to return it. I decided what was top and bottom (at least for me) by testing the function of the clips. The bottom clips are basically stationary, although they do pull out slightly, but I kept them in all the way. The top clips extend up and down with tentioning. To install, I held both ends of the mirrow, with the tentioning hooks up and placed on top of the existing mirrow at a slight angle, then pulled downward to stretch the top hooks until the bottom hooks were down far enough to go under the existing mirrow, then pushed the mirrow forward and release pulldown pressure to allow tentioning tighten against the existing mirrow. It really is thight and there is no movement while driving, even over bumps and turns. Once installed, I was able to move it from side to side for better positioning by holding the mirrow on both ends and slightly pulling down to disengage the bottom clips, then once in place, just released pulldown pressure to reengage tentioning. ... show more

Great field of view! I've been driving with convex mirrors for over 20 years. One of mine came apart because of the heat, so I got this one. You have to mind that the objects in the mirror appear closer than they actually are-- it's the nature of convex mirrors-- but you get used to it!

I didn’t think just a newer and bigger mirror would make such a difference. But when my mirror was so small and half of it was broken so I couldn’t even use half of it. This changed my life. It was easy to clip on and doesn’t fall off ever. Only thing I wish I had looked more into is the reflection when pointed up or down when there’s someone’s lights behind me blinding me at night. I didn’t realize that it was a clip on, so it’s of no use to me because the bracket for my mirror is what broke. So there’s nothing to clip It on to. I will figure something out and decide to return it or not.

Bought this to potentially increase, rear view, feasibility, and to a certain degree it does that. However, it has a convex surface, and that will cause you to have headaches if you do a quick glances in your rearview mirror. In fact, for many people, it may be more hindrance than help. I personally gave mine away because of this.EDIT: received an email shortly after the review, and they offered to refund this. I excepted, I will keep the original review, but I will modify it this way. It’s actually very good, and I have a friend who drives with it. Personally for me and gave me headaches. That may be a case to case situation due to the convex surface and I am used to be flat mirror. For what it is, it does a good job. However, for me was a headache and do so. For that reason, I will up the score from three stars to four stars namely, because they have rapid customer service. ... show more
