If you are looking for an excellent seat for sim racing, look no further. It mounts easily to 80/20 rigs and is very sturdy (one thing to note is that once the seat is mounted, you will not have access to the underside bolts for back-and-forth adjustment; you will have to remove the seat for adjustment). This bucketseat is good, but not perfect. I agree with some reviewers that said the mounting brackets are not square -- definitely be aware of this when trying to mount to your sim rig. The seat itself is pretty comfortable. There's a decent enough amount of padding, but don't expect the same softness that comes with the more traditional seats. It does need some extra lumbar support, however. I haven't sat in it for prolonged periods of time so I can't say how warm it gets, but I imagine it will probably get a tad toasty given how "fitted" it is. For reference, I'm between 5'5-5'6" and ~160lbs. I bought the medium and I fit snugly. I intend on adding motion to my rig in the future, so I opted for a more snug fit to keep from sliding around. It's not so snug that it's uncomfortable, but there's no room on either side of my legs. If you want a more relaxed fit, I would opt for the large. Overall I'm pleased with this bucketseat, especially for the price. This seat is comfortable enough and is perfect for a sim racing rig. I highly recommend it. ... show more

It's a good seat for a sim but the bottom cushion is way to thin, the foam compresses all the way down to the fiberglass bottom. I bought a foam stadium seat cushion and cut it to the size of the bottom cushion and placed it under the stock one. It made all the difference, I can sit for hours now. The seat is small. For reference I am 5'7"140lbs and it fits perfectly. If I were any larger it would be too tight. ... show more

I love this seat, it fits my sim rig perfectly. The reason for 4 stars is it is alittle creaky and I wish it was a hair wider for my legs. Otherwise it is above and beyond. Very comfortable I was shocked how well the padding works.

I'm so stoked this seat is actually really nice!! I was expecting to compromise somewhere but it's a really solid seat. Nice fabric, comfortable bottom cushion shape, gorgeous back with the glitter, especially when you pop the hatch and the dome lights hit it. I'm 6'4" 215lbs with a 36" waist. It fits me great! I can't actually spread my shoulders out broadly but that's normal for me in most seats, and if it were any wider it would hit the door. I can comfortably fit in the headroom with a normal slightly hunched posture. I touch the roof if I straighten completely up. I couldn't fit a helmet. This is installed on sliders tho, I installed it in my 350z using the included brackets and the Buddy Club Low slide rails made for the Z. I had to modify both in order to make it work. If I end up needing a helmet I'll have to ditch the slides and get it way down low but then my wife wouldn't be able to drive it. ... show more

This is a good value for money seat for sim racing. Its solid and does not flex when properly aligned and installed. I personally would not buy this to use in an actual vehicle. My reasoning is that I experienced an issue that many others have recognized. The holes for the side mounts are not properly aligned. This causes a wobble against a flat surface with the side mounts. In my use case this is for simracing so a couple of washers between the side mounts and the sliders evened it out. If this was for a vehicle, this would have gone back as i would not have felt comfortable with this hack. For sim racing it can be worked around without the threat of injury. I imagine for those that tighten this up without accommodating for the wobble in a real world vehicle can be in for issue in the future depending on how bad the misalignment was as the extra stress of the road further works at the stress created by forcing the seat/bolts to conform. ... show more

4 of us endurance race a car in 24 Hours of Lemons. Nobody has any complaints on comfort. The NRG adjustable rails that fit this seat are a different story. They are sturdy enough, but the handle for moving the seat is poorly designed and too flimsy. I fully expect it to fail on us unless we figure out a way to reinforce it. ... show more

However, the mounting holes in the back of mine are at different heights, so it's impossible for me to mount it without it being warped and uneven.
