The sticks are very sturdy, quiet, and pretty easy to use. It takes some force to put reconnect the sticks to one another using the provided holders but once in they don't fall out on their own which is important.

Great budget sticks with some good features, but could use some tweaking to perfect them. The horizontal stacking feature is the main reason I bought these sticks. They pack great when stacked this way but the connection brackets are a little difficult and make stacking and unstacking pretty loud. The sticks also stack vertically and lock together with the same connection bracket. The vertical stacking is much smoother and quieter. They are very sturdy! Not as lite as i would have hoped for a mini stick, but still great for the price. Definitely need to add stealth strips to quiet them down. I used my lone wolf straps because the xop straps are a little to thick and wide. I would recommend them for sure, just be prepared to do some modifications/upgrades to suit them to your needs. ... show more

These are built tough, holding up to 350lbs. But are definitely on the heavy side at 2lbs. Each. The holding system is pretty nice but hard to get together and apart quietly. They seem to have a tough finish on them and I do like the extra set back from the tree and the longer and wider steps but I can’t get past the extra weight of them compared to other sticks. ... show more

Sturdy and light weight. Only issue is clipping them together with the bracket can be difficult and frustrating at times. Good value though.

So far they seem great! They seem super sturdy and lock together right. Pretty quiet but will probably end up taping them. I’ll update after I get my saddle and edge platform.

    • Best Climbing Sticks I’ve used
I’m quickly falling in love with XOP products. These sticks are very light weight and easy to pack as well as use. The ability to rotate the steps one way or the other is crucial especially while hanging the stand and when it’s time to step into the stand from the sticks
