Great stand at 9.6 lbs. I like the platform size for the weight. Shelf feature is convenient. I use the seat cushion and can lay four Tethrd one sticks on it for transport. Not sure if the sticks would still straddle the seat if using Genesis SSS clips on the top but I have the bottom clips.

Lightweight and durable. Used it quite a bit last season, and it wasn't difficult to setup or take down. Sturdy. I paired it with a xop shoulder strap kit turning it into a ruck sack style frame. That allowed me to strap everything including a backpack to it to hike in with. The seat folded up while carrying it doesn't hold much weight but I mitigated that with some bungee cords and found no real issue. In the tree I felt safe and stable. One strap seemed fine but the second bottom strap keeps it from kicking out sideways if you plan to saddle hunt. ... show more

XOP hit it out of the park with this one. I tried it for the first time with the cushioned seat, thinking it would provide comfort and it was OK. Tried it a second time without it and I actually prefer it without the cushion. Plus, the cushion adds roughly 1 lb to the carrying weight. The straps that come with the stand weigh 8 oz each. (Another lb.) So, I pitched 'em and replaced them with H.F.A.S. amsteel attachment lines that weigh nothing. ... show more

Couldn’t be happier with my purchase. I hunted all season long with it and really can’t complain about anything. You can spend twice as much money or more and get a lighter treestand but you’re only saving a few pounds. I have hunted from just about every stand out there for more than 50 years. I recently bought this XOP stand and have been very impressed. It is light.
