Im 6’9 240lbs and really scared of heights, but iam now obsessed with saddle hunting! This saddle and platform are a real bang for your buck!! Great quality and price and very very comfortable! I will have zero problems with an all day hunt! I feel so much safer than in a climber or treestand even with a harness. The platform is a tad heavy, but seriously solid! Hunted with it 2 times now, sat about 3 hours each hunt, and could’ve sat longer… I’m about 6’1” 215lbs, and I’ve had no hip pinch. The bridge, lineman and tethered ropes are all well made, as well as the carabiners… I have no trust issues with them. The platform bites the tree well and doesn’t shift when I’m on the side edges… there are lighter ones out there but this one isn’t very heavy. Quality metal buckles that show a green mark so you know they are properly seated. The saddle itself is thick well made material, with quality stitching. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the leg strap do loosen up when I’m walking. As long as there is minimal tension on them they don’t adjust, so they stay tight in the tree, but they do loosen up when I walk and kinda bump up against my leg a little… all in all it’s trustworthy gear that offers a lot of value for the price. ... show more

This kit is perfect for budget minded hunters.the saddle is comfortable and has molle loops for dump pouches and an adjustable bridge at this price point is insane. the platform weight is easy to manage and grips trees perfectly. I'm 5'8" and 230lbs this setup handles me with ease. I added XOP X2 sticks and between the sticks and the edge platform I have the weight of my old lock on stands. It is a good saddle for the money easy to use pretty light nice size competing from a bigger guy it’s nice and comfortable ropes are nice I have the edge platform it kinda heavy but it’s not bad tho everything is really durable great for people learning how to saddle hunt
