This is an extra-large outdoor dog shelter (4 feet long x 4 feet wide x 3.2 feet high). It is constructed of a powder-coated steel framework and a polyester fabric tent. It does not have an actual door, but you can detach and fold up one end of the tent to create an entry/exit point. There are also long mesh windows on both sides that can be exposed by rolling up a flap and holding it open with Velcro tabs. The product page says you can assemble the shelter in 10 minutes, but I think that is after you have assembled it previously in one hour. It disassembles really fast, though. The instructions are quite thorough, and the various parts are either clearly labeled in their individual bags or are obvious from their unique shapes. The framework is created systematically and utilizes snap-fit buttons (like on an umbrella) to connect the various tubes and frame pieces. The fabric tent is a little trickier. Here is my advice - don't assume you know how to get the tent on the frame. I did, and I had to start over because the tent didn't fit. My bad. Follow the instructions step by step. The large tent piece goes on first and is wrapped around the frame sides using the Velcro built into the edges. The two end pieces go on afterward. Everything fits perfectly if you follow the instructions. :) The shelter has ground anchors for placement on a natural surface like grass or dirt, and also protective plastic clips that allow the shelter to be used on a deck or other similar surface without causing damage. The protective pieces will not, however, hold the shelter in place. The tent offers UV protection and is waterproof. It is a light grey, so it will reflect the sun's rays better than a dark material. It does, however, become a bit of a windsock. It will not stay in place without ample staking or sandbagging. This is a nice shelter for pretty much any size dog. My dog is 95 pounds and easily fit under the shelter without ducking when the side flap was partially removed. It is a fair price for the quality.

What an amazing dog house, and the dogs love it...even in the wind and rain! It's roomy enough for the two dogs...they like to cozy up together anyway! It even has windows for nosy dogs who love to sit and look out of windows! ;) They also allow for air to flow through. It is not difficult to assemble, but if you have questions there is an instruction manual included. We LOVE this doghouse and know you will, too! We highly recommend it!

This thing is larger than I expected, which is great, as both of my 50 lb(short stocky) dogs can fit under it. I will be disassembling this once it starts to get cold(we're having 80+ degree days still in october)but this is a great shelter to have if you dont have any shade in your yard like me. I plan to buy an xl cooling mat to put this over for the super hot months for the ultimate escape from the sun and heat for my pups. They love to be outside whenever we are and it'll also be nice to have a bowl of water under this,not being baked by the direct sun where I have to change it constantly lol. Wasn't difficult to assemble and looks nice and feels pretty durable so if you live somewhere that doesn't get super harsh wind and snow you could probably leave it up year round. Me and my pups are happy to have this!

I like this but three stars because it could have used a couple more bars to make it a bit sturdier. Also three stars because the paint easily scuffs and chips away from the metal. I think this is nice enough to provide some shade but I absolutely wouldn’t trust it for any kind of weight or high wind l gusts. It does come with some stakes but I don’t think they’d be sufficient in the event of straight line winds. The frame is pretty wobbly without the tarp on it. Otherwise it is decently sturdy. It’s a good size and I like that the flaps roll up to provide more airflow. It serves its purpose for providing some shade from the sun for my dogs.

This dog house is pretty awesome. Having the front and back closures fully removable and having two window sections with roll-up flaps makes it pretty versatile. It was very straightforward for putting it together. The directions were crystal clear for the frame and everything else was very obvious on how it was made to go together. Maybe have taken 5-10 minutes for the frame and maybe 5 minutes for the rest of it. My pictures were not taken on a very sunny day at all but it's been in my backyard ever since and I've seen the amount of shade it provides. My dog absolutely loved laying in the shade whenever she was done running and rolling around on the warm grass. My favorite part is the roll up window screen flaps. Although I dont think theyre really necessary, they can still help with airflow if it happens to be a really hot day out. The material they used to construct this is of real nice quality, feels nice and durable for different outdoor weather. This dog house is a fairly nice size. Not at all too small and although I only have one dog, I can see a 2 or 3 dogs of medium size easily fitting underneath comfortably. The advertisement pictures show the front flap flipped up and over the top but when I tried to do that there's no real way to keep it from sliding back down. I did manage to find a way to fold it a little bit and get the scratchy side of the velcro straps from the window flaps to reach up and over to the edge of the fuzzy velco on the front closure flap. This description may sound confusing, but I added a picture I tried to take of what I did. This only works if you have the window screen flaps rolled up because you need the scratchy velcro that is underneath the window screen flaps. Althought this is a great shaded dog house, the reason I have to take away a star is bc with all the effort they put into creating this structure, I feel the ties they put on the bottom to secure the material to the base of the frame are not at all long enough. I struggled to tie each one because they weren't very long, you can see in my pictures how tight I pulled them. On top of that I don't see these ties lasting very long if you wanted to keep this dog house on top of grass for an extended period of time. Grass usually has quite a bit of moisture, especially in the mornings. I dont think these will last if you leave it getting wet frequently.
