Dogs love it! Perfect size door opening for our malinois mix (55 lbs) and love the ability to open as a door. Really wanted to love this door and the swinging function. The flap that the dog runs through broke off in a couple of weeks. It’s just a cheap plastic piece holding it together that the metal screws broke out of. The flap is completely off now and we can’t even use the dog door anymore. Installing it was also a bit crazy, and all of that, so expensive to not work.

Good door, flap is a little too long so leaves gaps on the sides that allow flies to come in sometimes. Instructions to install are pretty bad. YouTube video is better. door is sturdy and has good magnets.

Bought the dog door in september. But never put it together because I was waiting on new windows to get installed on the house which included my sliding glass door. It is missing parts which I wish I knew beforehand. So I could have requested them. It came with no screws to mount it into the sliding glass door frame. I had to buy my own. It did not come with any of the locks that I thought were included to secure the sliding glass door frame to the actual dog door. Upset about that. Because I'm worried that it's just going to move and just pop off. The bottom part goes into the groove of my sliding glass door. But the top part does not. You can see that in one of the photos as well. I'm not sure why it was a difference other than the fact of the spring-loaded sizer which is supposed to help for taller doors. It would be nice if that was the actual same size so there wouldn't be an issue. As you can see there is a lot of gaps. I wish the box included some weather stripping for the price considering it was at a high price tag. But I will go and invest in that as well. Overall. I'm happy I found a big enough dog door for cane corsos. Upset I'm missing pieces. But again, I was late to installing. Make sure you open your package and check for all of the screws and locks. So that way you can get the missing pieces or return. The door quality is pretty good though. It is all metal besides the flap. I wish I could install a locking mechanism from the dog door to my normal sliding glass door for extra safety. But I do not see holes for that. I may invest in something else.

This door did not last 6 months. The hinges are very week and way too few. The door flap its self is poorly designed as in the way it is installed. Plastic broke within 2 months.

This is a simple installation. A little flimsy on the hinges where the swinging door meet the locking mechanism, but overall I think a good product. As with anything in life, it might not fit your door 100% so you have to be knowledgeable and flexible with ideas of how to install it.
