Features

  • 11.4 x 2.7 x 4.92 inches Even at a larger size, it maintains a flight time of 26-30 minutes (with two Type-C charging port batteries, tested, no bluff). Equipped with advanced emergency braking, it enhances child safety and protects furniture, providing a worry-free flying experience. Durable and built to withstand high-impact collisions.
  • Lithium Polymer Battery Our device uses a lithium polymer battery, which offers high quality and safety performance, making it one of the top-tier battery types currently available on the market. We recommend Safe Charging (120 min/1 battery) to reduce the risk of overheating, ensure stable charging, and protect battery life. Fast Charging (not recommended) can be completed in 40 minutes per battery but carries risks of overheating, hardware failure, and potential short circuits or fire hazards.
  • Zero Learning Time Kids can dive right in after unboxing, with personalized gameplay options for ages 3-12. With one-button operation, taking off and landing is a breeze, while the altitude hold feature keeps the helicopter stable. Choose from different speed settings for a customized flying experience that suits all skill levels.
  • Advanced 2.4G Technology and 3.5 Channel Control This helicopter features 2.4G wireless technology for a stable connection up to 50 meters and a 3.5-channel remote for easy maneuvering, allowing high-altitude soaring and long-distance exploration without signal interference. For best results, turn on the helicopter first, then the remote; it's intended for indoor use only. If playing outdoors, ensure youre in an open, windless area and keep the remote close to avoid losing connection.

  • Great beginning remote helicopter
Loved the ease of operation, still works after multiple crashes, good value for the money, all ages in our house 4-26 fun with this toy. Battery life lasts pretty decent amount of time! Fairly easy to control, does take a little getting used to, but with practice easy to operate.

  • Wonderful starter RC helicopter!
This RC helicopter is really nice for beginners! It's easy to fly (assuming there is no wind), is easy to keep track of with its bright flashing lights, is very resilient, and is incredibly easy to charge and replace the batteries on! One thing to keep in mind is that this is a pretty simple helicopter, and not a quadcopter. Because of how it is designed, your only options are height adjustment (up and down), rotation (turn left and right), and forward/backward movement; you do not get the ability to move left and right without facing the direction you want to go. It can be flown indoors, but I suggest flying it outside or at least in a VERY large room as it is harder to prevent it from accidentally drifting into a wall or something else compared to a standard quadcopter. Especially so because there are no blade guards, so you could easily do damage if it drifts into your TV or something. While I do suggest flying it outdoors, you very much so have to have a day with NO wind! Even the slightest of breezes (nearly imperceptible even) is enough to whisk this helicopter away and make it difficult to fly it back to where you started. While this is the case with many small/light flying devices like most quadcopters, this RC helicopter seems to be even more susceptible to it as it doesn't have a lot of lean available to it when going forwards or backwards (even in the "high speed" mode). I do wish it had a third "turbo speed" mode (or just in general a slightly stronger tail motor/propeller) so it could fight the wind a little better, but I am not going to hold that against them as it is quite reasonably designed (especially for kids/beginners). The above aside, I don't really have anything negative I can say about it! The remote can control it from any reasonable distance (given how small it is and how hard it gets to see as it gets far away from you), it does a great job at maintaining its height, and hasn't broken even after a few mishaps that led to it falling out of the sky onto concrete. Even if you do manage to damage it, it comes with plenty of spare blades! In addition, the batteries last about as long as advertised! In my testing I say you get ~8 minutes of "real" flight, with another ~3 minutes of "limp mode" flight where it will only hover a foot or so off the ground, for each of the two included batteries. However, my tests were with a very slight breeze, meaning that I was constantly fighting the wind and trying to fly forwards; so a flight with more hovering would probably last a little longer (as the tail motor wouldn't be running constantly). Also, each battery has a USB-C port on it for charging, which means you can use any common cable/charger/powerbank, and don't need to worry about some specialty cable! In the end, I find this helicopter a ton of fun, and recommend it as a starter helicopter for anyone looking to get into the hobby! ... show more

  • Fun & Easy to Fly
I own several counter-rotating main-rotor-blades, bar stabilized, Remote Control (RC) helicopters from ~15 years ago that cost between $25 and $250 (when new), and none are as easy to fly that this XK919! Although I do not see it advertised, I believe this unit has a multi-axis digital gyroscope enabling stable flight. For example, to replicate the altitude hold function this toy has - requires lots of flying skill with my older units. With a fresh battery, the XK919 will remain fairly well in any given flight posture. The dual batteries are nice – affording you ~25 minutes of flying time (~12.5 minutes each) between long (2+ hours per battery) recharging sessions. The extra rotor blades and control knuckles are thoughtful, and I’m certain will be needed eventually. Another smart feature are the crash-landing LEDs; when (not if) the toy crashes and falls over (as it typically does), the LED lights flash to help you find it if flying outdoors. I do wish this had proportional controls (it does not). As is – you have no fine adjustments; flight controls (forward/back, left/right, up/down) are ALL ON or ALL OFF. Full speed forward or stop, hard turn or straight, etc. Landing smoothly takes a series of quick/short full down moves; or push the “auto crash” button and the toy will just drop to the floor. The controller has adjustable left/right trim controls to allowing “trueing up” the toy in forward and hovering flight. The on-line advertising states: “Choose between different speed settings for a personalized flying experience…”. I see no evidence of this with my unit, nor is it mentioned in the directions/user guide. The ONLY thing which comes close to this is the auto take-off button which will launch the toy (almost) straight up into a stable hover. Flying indoors is easier due to protection from the wind… but flying outdoors may be safer for Mom’s fine China, crystal, and knickknacks. ... show more

  • Fun
A little tricky to learn how to fly, but once you get it, it's a blast. Included extra parts just in case, and isn't actually too difficult to learn. I certainly wouldn't let my 3 year old try it, but maybe a 7 year old or someone with experience.

  • Top Flight
An awesome electric-powered design remote control helicopter. It is a compact design that has a lightweight construction that is easy to maneuver. It has survived multiple crashes, which has showed me it's durability and agility...making it nearly indestructible. Great for indoor and outdoor usage, easy to control ensuring a stable flight. ... show more

  • Fun toy
I got this to mess around with, I have several RC helicopters and grabbed this one up to add to my collection. It is pretty easy to fly, has an auto take off and auto land button which is handy. It's also pretty durable, I have crashed it a few times, but no damage. It is really susceptible to wind currents though, doesn't like when my ceiling fans are on... Not a super long flight time, probably about 10 or 11 mins, but it does come with a spare battery and they charge pretty quickly. ... show more

  • Not impressed.
This helicopter looks cool, but it's hard to control. It barely has any forward motion and even the slightest breeze will keep it from going where you want. I don't recommend using it indoors unless you have a huge room.
