This is a nice ornament with a nice visual effect, but there are two significant issues: it seems to emit ultraviolet light which causes perhaps undesirable fluorescence, fades colors and makes certain plastics brittle over time; and the battery compartment slash switchbox gets way too hot when on and plugged into a USB. When used it must be constantly monitored for risk of fire.

I purchased this light about more than 2 years ago and still to this day it is working greatly the batteries not work but i just use the usb cord and have it drilled in to my wall its so cute and i love it. i just flick the switch it has to turn it off and on.

The media could not be loaded. I love it!! The main issue though is there’s nothing that came with it to attach it to the wall. I tried command tape and it fell off so I ended up just putting it on a shelf on my wall. It comes with the option to use 3 AA batteries or plug it into the wall. I recommend plugging it in because the batteries will drain after a few days of use. If you plug it in though, you have to supply your own wall cube (like a phone charger cube), as the light is USB adapted. You can keep it on for days at a time and it won’t get hot. The cord is kind of a hassle because you can’t take the battery pack off, so if you decide to hang it from a wall, the battery pack will be visible. I would say it’s a good size for the price. It’s a little smaller than a piece notebook paper so it’s not going to take up that much space. I have 2 additional ones and they provide some really nice ambient lighting at night.
