I could spend hours staring at this, watching different scenes evolve. The purple and white sand color is very pretty and there is also a small amount of very bright pink sand that occasionally separates out into its own layer. I like the circular shape of this, which makes it fun to turn. You can either turn it a complete 180 degrees or lesser amounts, so if a chunk of sand gets stuck you can turn just a little bit to get that unstuck or you can turn it fully and start all over again. The stand is wide enough that I haven't had any issues with wobbling or worrying about the frame falling over. This sand art frame was nice but seemed a little cheaply made. Bought another one from a didn't seller and it was much better quality for about the same price. Sand doesn't move as nicely in this one as it does in the other one.

The media could not be loaded. The design and concept in great, but the execution is poor. Perhaps they don't account for any atmospheric pressure other than where it's made in China, because here in Utah in the mountains it doesn't work at all. There's holes to take air out but no syringe to remove it The sand doesn't seem to flow and it never looks like the pictures in the video or on their listing. You should spend about $10 more and get a different unit from another seller. Will probably be returning this one ... show more
