UPDATE: my previous review was apparently due to poor battery life... i thought i had put in brand new batteries and when the laser pointers didnt work i thought nothing of it .. maybe i got a fluke.. but since missing my return date i bought a new pack of batteries and tried them just in case. To my surpirse they are FANTASTIC and i was 100% WRONG in my previous review. The order came w 3 lasers, red, green and purple and they are AWESOME.. the pointer is light in hand and the laser light itself is bright and an instant favorite for my crazy kitten - which makes it a fave for me too..I'll keep my previous review attached here but just to show the very clear difference. Unlike the 1st review I HIGHLY recommend these pointers... if you run into the same issue as I did and one or more of them are not working - go buy new batteries.. even if u think yours are new... try new batteries... and then try these again .. Original review: I think these were a total waste of money... I meant to send them back but life got in the way and I missed the date to do so ... when they arrived only 1 worked.. the red one.... but even that one was just meh..me... the laser often just fades out and doesn't have a steady light source... disappointing but tis what it is... save your money on this one and go with another laser choice... there's only about a zillion others to choose from ... show more

    • Does not stay on. You have to hold the activation button to use.

This 3 pack is a good deal for the price, but you have to continuously hold the activation button to keep it turned on. You cannot depress it once and have it stay on. This is a hassle, and all three lasers were like this. I just taped it down and then loosened the 2 pieces (the area where you put the batteries) until it turned off. Now, when I use it, I tighten the 2 pieces, and it stays on., ... show more

The product description says you'll get three different pointers in three different colors of beam. I am a frequent Amazon shopper, and I am almost always satisfied with the products I have purchased. This one was pretty bad. I get two pointers (instead of three) that are loosely wrapped in bubble wrap. This wasn't a product sold as you might see in any reputable store. I put batteries in one. It lasted all of 10 seconds with a weak beam. And, yes, I know how to install AAA batteries into a device. Negative always goes on the spring. The other pen works well. I wonder how the mystery pen that I never received works? Guess I'll never know. This was an Amazon fail, in my opinion. They put junk on their site, and they allowed this junk to be sent out. ... show more
