Let me start out by saying that I have three dogs and all of them are shedding breeds. One is an eight month old rescue puppy that is still potty training, which is why I really needed a washable rug. This rug is super soft, thin (making it easy to wash, which I haven’t tried yet) however it is easy to spot clean with carpet cleaner. The only issue I have is the difficulty of vacuuming this rug, the vacuum cleaner runs hot due to the suction affect on the thin rug. Overall no regrets as I wanted a nice looking washable rug that’s affordable. Will update once I wash it for the first time. ... show more

Love this rug!! It is so beautiful and looks expensive, but such a deal! Fits my space perfectly. It’s the 8x10 brown/ivory. It has varying shades of dark chocolate brown, camel/rust, teal-ish green, and a tad of light yellow. It is thin (but not too thin) and velvety soft. I’ve had it for 3 days and it has flattened out completely. Some have commented that you can’t vacuum it - I think it depends on your vacuum and its height settings. For example my Roomba has no problem, but my upright Dyson is a bit of an issue with the back and forth. So I just lift the vacuum, place it forward, then vacuum towards me. Repeat and repeat. Is it ideal to only vacuum one direction? No. But is it a deal-breaker for me? No - it’s just more of a workout lol. Oh and my Yorkie loves it too! If you’re on the fence - just get it!! ... show more

I really like this rug, I know many washable rugs don’t look great but this one fit the bill in my dining room. It’s been less than a week and almost all of the folds are already out. In hindsight, if I had thrown it in my dryer for 10 minutes, I think they’d already be gone, but I don’t wanna move my dining room table again 😂 I had an expensive rug prior to this, but because I have a dog, she kept peeing on it no matter what I did! Yes, my dog is crate trained and yes, we have a doggie door but once they pee on a carpet, that’s it! I love this carpet because if she pees on it, it’s easy to clean and the urine will not go through onto my real hardwood floor. I couldn’t make up my mind if I wanted the gray with white or the gray with a little color in it for contrast, I ended up getting the one with contrast and it looks great. I have a few of these rugs throughout the house and they are easy to wash and dry, which is a win-win for me. Don’t get me wrong. I love a beautiful wool rug, but at the moment these fit my needs! Extra bonus if you smell something on it, it piles up on top, which makes it easier to clean up. I also did spray Scotchgard all over the carpet for an additional layer of protection from dirt and animals. I’m taking photos from different angles so you can see what the powder looks like. It's hard to decide on the number of stars. I give it one star for the creases/folds and 5 stars for everything else. Pros 1. Colors match the photo. 2. Size is very close to specified dimensions - it's 14' long and 9' 10.5" wide (off by 1.5"). 3. Material is very soft to the touch. 4. Does not slide on our hardwood floors even without a pad. 5. Thin - as advertised 6. Easy to vacuum with our Hoover upright. Problems with vacuuming have been mentioned as a negative in other reviews. 7. Great value - nice quality and low price. Con According to an included page of information titled, "Welcome To The Fold", it's obvious that the fact that the rug arrives folded is an issue that concerns buyers. The buyer is directed to "gently run your hands across the folds, put the rug under the furniture and walk around." We've tried all of that and more but after being down for 2 days, the folds/creases show no sign of going away. The information page says, "Please don't worry! The creases will disappear in a few days." Hopefully, this is correct but so far it doesn't seem likely. As a side note, our rug is huge and will not fit in our washer or dryer. If you are interested in one of the smaller sizes that could be washed and dried perhaps that would alleviate any creasing issues. At this point, the folds are so unsightly that I would not purchase this rug for this reason alone despite it checking all the other boxes. I'll give it a couple of weeks and update my review at that time. I hope this helps you make a decision. ... show more
