This is a nice rake - and surely is smaller than a standard one - but is in NO WAY A TOY! It is a REAL RAKE, It is metal, and very dangerous. It is heavy and has spikes, like a real rake does. It is definitely smaller than a standard one - so maybe for a younger or shorter person, even a petite person, or a woman like me (5'0" tall). This children's rake is very sturdy! The thick wooden handle comes in two parts that you just screw together so you can take it apart to store it or hang it from the thick cord that's attached.
