Works well but is a bit of a project. Not ready to use out of the box but does include everything needed. You will need a USB sound adapter or a computer with speaker and mic jacks. The DE19 is a better complete ready to go version with built in sound card.

I use this for digital modes on the Xiegu G90. So far it seems to work well. With all the cables required there is a lot to manage. I believe other have simpler setups using custom cables. I don’t have the amplifier for this product but my understanding is that it is required to make the amp work with the g90. I would give 5 stars it it had a better enclosure.

For what it is, it will probably function ok. And being an electronics tech of several decades standing I’m confident I’ll make something out of it. IT IS NOT, however, something that can, at any level, be considered plug-n-play ( or even a finished product).The instructions are nearly nonexistent and what there is is misleading at best. The cables require soldering and reference to an external source of instructions (and just hope you chose the right set) There is no case to protect the unit in use. So, unless you have the skills, tools, knowledge, and experience to take the gamble, you are better off going for an after market solution even at 3x the price. Good luck.

i use the ce-19 for interfacing my g90 and x5105 with my xpa125b amp, and for digital ops... what a lot of folks do not know is that the ce-19 also allows you to use your xiegu with other amplifiers! connect your amp's keying line to the PTT CON port, which is a simple 2- or 3-pole stereo plug i use my mx-p50m amp with the ce-19 and it is perfect!

The CE-19 provides a very easy path to operating your Xiegu radio on digital modes. Really nice that it converts the 8 pin output to standard 3.5mm jacks that can then be customized to whatever interface you need. Works great, as advertised. Really like that it comes with 3.5mm jacks too.

Basically comes with zero instructions. You'll need to visit several YT videos to determine how to make the required cable. They include three single ended cables and three sperate stereo mini plugs. The mini plugs are not required but since there are sketchy instructions this is not clear. Once I had the cable built correctly connecting the CE-19 between my PC and G90 was another challenge which also required using the 'Blue' USB cable that came with the G90. Again this is not spelled out in any way on the single sheet of cryptic instructions. Bottom line - purchase at your own risk but don't assume this is any where near plug and play.
