4/5 because the mfg is true to their weird and it’s a 1:1 size of an H4 halogen bulb, however I don’t think it’s as bright as the halogen used in my Ducati scrambler from the factory. Light is much more white and closer to the modern look of the LED DRLs the motorcycle comes with

    • Excellent value and VERY bright.
I bought this LED to replace the standard H4 in my Yamaha XT250. I had looked at the Cyclops LED, but it's just too expensive. This LED was a great price, is VERY BRIGHT and pictures (I took some) just don't do it justice. It's definitely in the 5000k range of color, and really gets people's attention compared to the halogen H4 (ask me how I know this!). I have not had a chance yet to ride at night with it, but to give you an idea of just how bright this LED is, I was riding down a street the other day in broad daylight (no clouds) and I turned it to high beam just as I was coming up on a bad intersection. I happened to be looking at a speed limit sign just as I flipped the switch, and the sign lit up!! I thought I was seeing things, so as I rode around I tried it again several times and each time the signs just lit up! Wow!! This is easily twice as bright as the standard H4, and possibly brighter! I can't speak yet on how long this LED will last, but it's doing great now. I would buy it again! ... show more

    • Bulb only worked for a couple hours
Upon installation I noticed the 3 terminals attached to the back of the bulb seemed loose but thought it was suppose to be that way. Bulb worked for 2-3 hours then was going off and on when riding. Checked connection at bulb and everything was tight- but were it goes into the bulb was still loose. Only way to get the light to stay on was to push the 3 terminals into the bulb itself. Bulb stopped working completely. I ended up putting my old bulb back in and it has been working fine ever since. Update: I contacted the company about the issue and they immediately shipped out a replacement bulb at no cost. Customer service has been great. Once time permits I will install the replacement bulb. ... show more

    • Bright, but not robust
This light is pretty bright, very clean white with good range. Only problem is they do not seem to last. One did not survive installation (which to their credit they replaced no questions asked). I’d gotten less than 600 miles of riding before the other one died as well. I think the solder connections on the back of the plug aren’t mechanically secure, so vibrations cause it to wiggle loose. Bummer :/ Update: +1 star, they did offer me a refund even after the return window had expired, so at the very least their customer service is good. ... show more
