    • Too much of a good thing ?
I was pleasantly surprised because the build quality of this handheld system is excellent. I expected the case to be made of ABS plastic. But it actually seems to be High Density Polyethylene, which has a more comfortable feel and is much more durable. The buttons and joysticks have very little play and provide good tactile feedback. The rechargeable lithium battery has 3000mAh capacity, so I haven’t come close to running until it is empty. The screen is bright, has good contrast, but is a bit small. It is appropriate for this type of device since the original games had about the same resolution. I wish this device had an HDMI output for connecting to an external monitor or TV. It is amazing to consider that most of the arcade games which I played during the late 1970s and early 1980s are preloaded here. A few notable exceptions: Hydro Thunder and all Atari vector-graphics games such as Tempest and Battlezone. Since the games are stored on a TF (micro SD) card, we can add games when they become available for the supported emulators. The instructions don’t give any details. So I’m still not sure what the “Download” screen is supposed to do. There are 15,290 games, which are categorized by the emulator platform. Each game may have several similar versions, such as American, European, and Japanese versions. Unfortunately, the search feature is quite limited because the only way to search is by typing in the title. Otherwise, you’d have to scroll through 1699 pages of game titles. This system needs to add the ability to search by genre, publisher, or release year. Gameplay is smooth, without any apparent lag. The sound is okay for 8-bit games. But many sounds from the Playstation emulator sound aliased. I spent time testing my favorite puzzle-solving game, “Chip’s Challenge”. It duplicates the original Atari Lynx handheld game, so I’m happy ! ... show more

Very cool system! Has all the emulators shown in the picture. Very nostalgic experience. Lots of Nintendo type of games. I really wish it had more PS games though (only 60 very random PS1 games). For the price point though its a great way to take a trip to your childhood and play some of your favorite games and listen to those sounds you forgot you remembered.
