This was great for replacing our awning and a great price. There weren’t instructions on how to replace it and that process can be complicated and dangerous. We found a YouTube video to watch and instruct how to replace it. The only thing I would ask is to have better instructions on how to replace it or even videos to reference to know what to do. The underside of this awning is solid white, and the top is a fading gray pattern. After looking at the pattern closeup I'd much rather the top have been solid gray (or at least the "speckled gray pattern" it starts at the whole way across. (To me the transition looks like a bad spray painting, but installed and at a distance I guess it looks fine.) My measured width (in picture) is slightly shorter then indicated (primarily because it is hard to keep this wide of an awning taunt enough spread across grass to measure before installing.) The length measured 92" (7'8"). (The "end-hangdown-piece" is 10" leaving 82" (6'10") for the "incline-edge".) I thought this would come with some general assembly instructions, but none come with it. Additionally, the longer the awning you are assembling the more awkward the installation can become without sufficient extra hands. This is not a project doable alone, its doable with two, but a third person will make the process go much easier. The material/workmanship of the awning seems excellent, and with a few friends helping and watching a few online tutorials first the project went relatively smoothly. ... show more

The fabric is reasonably heavy, and the stitching is solid. Installing is not the easiest if your old awning has been on for several years as mine has. Search online and you will find many videos showing how to install this awning - which is good, since this did not come with any instructions. After putting it on, leave it open in the hot sun for a couple days to remove all packing wrinkles. This looks good and works as well as the original did. ... show more

This is a nice and heavy replacement awning for your RV. Ours is well worn and needed a replacement so I got this. It feels good and heavy and looks great. I have not installed it yet because of all the wet weather. It has what it should like the plastic wire at the top to slide into the awning roller and it comes with repair tape if you need it. There is a 24-month warranty for the product and when I laid it out to look at it the color scheme was very nice. I have no doubt that this will work great on the RV.
