It took me a while to find the perfect cordless glue gun for crafting. I've been using this for a few weeks and have had no issues! I went through around four difference cordless glue guns until I found this, and it's been perfect! I also LOVE the rubber finger protectors; I've been using those all the time. It is the largest glue gun I've ever used but I have no issue with it. Battery has also been holding up! The only reason I have four stars is because on occasion it will drip some glue when I put it down. It has not done it constantly though, just something I noticed. The first thing I'll say is that this XDOVET Hot Glue Gun comes with a well written and edited manual that is easy to read and well laid out. I love it! I needed a hot glue gun for a little project I'm doing but once my wife got a hold of it, it was hard to get it back. She now claims it as her own and has ditched her old gun. This gun fits perfectly in my hand as it does my wife's hand. One reason is that the trigger is a two finger trigger, as can be seen in one of my photos. It really reduces fatigue when used over a longer period. It only weighs 8.7 ounces empty and feels light in the hand. It also has a nice hand grip covered with a rubber like coating that helps the glue gun stay in place comfortably in my hand. My wife has owned several different glue guns. She has never seen a glue gun come with silicone finger tips, similar to a thimble for sewing. The listing doesn't mention them but they do show them in one of their photos. My wife has burned her fingers so many times, she can't remember how many. She thought these "thimbles" were a great idea to keep her fingers safe. There are actually three of them in three different sizes to fit most people or use more than one at a time. She also said that she has never seen any glue gun come with glitter glue. She used the glitter sticks with two of our grandchildren and the colors were very bright and vibrant. They come in 6 colors Green, Gold, Blue, Red, Silver and a Dark Pink for a total of 20 glitter sticks. It also comes with 10 clear glue sticks for a total of 30. I like that the gun has a rechargeable USB battery that lasted me over 3 hours. Power cords always seem to get in the way when working on glue projects and this made using my new glue gun more of a pleasure to use and less frustrating. Of course it has a "No Drip" nozzle, but the really good part is that this one actually works! The gun heats up very fast and shuts off by itself after about 4 minutes. It also has a one year Service Warranty and a two year Standard Warranty that is explained on page 13 of the manual. This will likely be the last Hot Glue Gun I buy in a very long time. There isn't really anything negative to say except it might have been nice if it came with a little pouch or bag to keep the gun, glue and finger caps secured in one place. A quart size plastic storage bag will work but a provided bag would make it perfect. I got a high quality hot glue gun by XDOVET for a medium to lower price.
