Battery doesn't last very long and if u try pushing a little too fast it will backfill and harden then you disassemble to unplug it. Small projects it's excellent tool.

This was everything I wanted and was actually perfect. I do a lot of things around the house and this held up well at first. The only issue I had was that it lost power..Which was because it just needed charged unlike my corded one. The product worked great until one day the trigger just popped out. It was not loose before or anything. I just went to use it and poof it popped out. It was heart breaking and it was right before the holidays. I have tried others since but they did not hold up as well or hold a charge or handle the way this did. Overall I would love to give it a 5 but it broke after three months. ... show more

The first thing that I do is to read the manual that comes with any tools so that I can know how to properly operate them. This manual needs re-working. That probably has to do with it being made in China and not having someone read it before printing. The diagram of the device with the numbered parts are on page 3 at the beginning of the book, but you have to turn to page 8 at the back of the book for the explanation of the diagram numbers. And then the next page (page 9) has "before starting the equipment" which should be at the front of the booklet. Needless to say, I took the booklet apart and put the pages in the proper order so that they made sense. Now for the operation of the unit: The instructions say to push the power button for 2 seconds. This did nothing for me. I have to hold it down for a minimum of 5 seconds in order for it to do anything. Then the power will come on. The booklet states that it takes 100 seconds to heat up. Mine takes at least 5 minutes before it is ready to use. You place a glue stick in and push it until it stops. But that didn't work for me. I pushed on the trigger and nothing happened. I found that I had to push the glue stick in completely (it took one whole glue stick plus one before it would extrude any hot glue). And when you have add another glue stick, if it isn't in over half way, it won't pull in the stick. That is a drawback. I didn't find that it lasted very long at all. I was using it intermittently and it lasted about 15 minutes before I had to charge it again. The glue did come out properly but it takes much longer to cool than it states as well. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this glue gun. It is pretty, but pretty is just cosmetic and not functional. ... show more

I like this little glue gun. I love not needing to plug in. The issue I have with it is it don’t stay charged long. I use it intermittently for short periods of time. Seems every time I go to use it I have to charge it. Had to buy a plug in one to use also, which is not a good value.

This brand has a whole entire pink set of tools that you can buy and they will donate proceeds to the breast cancer awareness foundation. Very sturdy gun, comes with glue sticks, has a sturdy stand, a charger and cord. It’s cordless. The gun is EASY to use, charge and wait for the light to turn red then green, press the on button on top hold down for about 20 seconds then it’s hot and ready to glue. I grew up as one of those kids that trusted in the hot glue gun for every adhesive need, no matter how ill-fitting. I’ve burned my fingertips more times than I can possibly say, but I’ve always forgiven the glue gun. It was the perfect invention to me, except for the cord that limited the distance and convenience of the gluing experience. So then I stumbled upon this creation one day. The idea of a cordless glue gun reignited my love and passion for glueing things. I could finally glue a fabergé egg back together in the middle of the Sahara desert where there’s no power outlets for miles. A scenario that will literally never occur, but the possibilities were now limitless. I added it to cart. I busted this glue gun out, ready to start the rest of our lives together. I had to plug it in to charge it though. No problem, I’d already done that for almost 30 years, I could hold on for one more day on a cordless experience. So I plugged it in, tried to use it, and then realized it cannot multitask. It can’t be used while charging. The rose-colored glasses began to lose their tint. I waited for it to charge, then I gave it a go, but much to my dismay it pooped out no more than 30 minutes into using it. The glue gun constantly needed to be turned on if I left it idle for more than a minute or so. A needy glue gun indeed. I wanted this to be the glue gun I could spend the rest of my life with. The glue gun that would help me construct crafts I could sell for my small business. The glue gun I would use to help my kids build shoebox dioramas. The glue gun I could count on to piece together shattered goods, broken dreams, and loose concepts. But this glue gun had other plans. It powered down for the last time, not long after powering on for the first time. It left me with a broken heart and out $29.99.
