Does it work? Yes. Is it lightweight, efficient and wonderful? Yes. Does the automatic shut off work? Also yes!!! This didn't work for me because it doesn't work plugged in. I got this because I am forgetful and needed an item that would automatically turn off. It does this, but I also forget to plug it in. When the battery dies, you cannot use the got glue gun via the power cord. You must wait for it to recharge, unplug it, and then use it. Great for some, certainly. This little workhorse makes little crafts, party set up, quick fixes SO easy! never did I think to look for a cordless hot glue gun but now I’m never buying a corded one ever again! the package comes with the glue gun, a charging cable, and glue sticks!

**Update** I was contacted by the company after making this review. They asked me some basic questions about what I attempted to do and requested that I send them a video showing the issue. After doing that they told me they would send me a brand new gun to replace the broken one! I was pleasantly surprised by this. I have since received the new gun, it is a different model but I figured it really didn’t matter as long as it was still cordless and worked well. I have to say, I LOVE this new gun! It works great, stands on its own and heats up very quickly. I have never had a company come back from a 1 star review to a 5 star but they did it! So if you’re considering this brand, I can say that they truly do stand behind their products and are willing to go above and beyond to make sure that their customers are happy. Their products work well and I would definitely recommend! I have had this glue gun since February, I’ve used it probably 15 times since then. I have been extra cautious to not do anything incorrectly, like never pulling a glue stick back out once it’s been placed in the gun. Today I went to use it and it will not flow no matter what I do. I’ve cleaned the nozzle, made sure it was fully charged, gave it extra time to heat up, nothing. So I got the user manual out and followed the instructions for troubleshooting which lead me to removing the stick and then using a new one, still nothing. So if you plan to use this tool on a regular basis I wouldn’t recommend this one. I now have multiple projects I need to complete and I can’t because I have no glue gun. Love this glue gun. I use it regularly for arts and crafts and so far it does everything i need it too. I wish the battery life lasted longer since you can't use it while it is plugged in and charging, but overall it is a great product.

This gun is a joke. Wanted a cordless travel glue gun for craft shows, this was not it!! Would not heat at all due to poor fitting of charging cord. A glue gun that does not heat really has no value and not worth the time and effort to return. Yet another cheaply made product. Come on Amazon stop selling such junk. My last few products have been over priced junk. Nothing worse trying to finish a project with inadequate tools. I purchase brand name items from Amazon yet it appears these items have been used returned broken and reshipped to me. Purchased exact same gun at Walmart worked PERFECT not used and broken. It uses the smaller hobby glue sticks. It heats up fast, it shuts itself off if you leave it on or forget. It doesn’t “feel” light and cheap. It has a little weight to it. Love that it's cordless, does a great job with crafts, doesn't come out to fast at all. No licking at all. Handle does not get over heated. Which is nice. Cause there are some that will. This one also doesn't take long to cool off either.

It works but takes a while to charge then only holds it for 10 minutes or so. You can stretch the time if you continually turn it on/off but then the glue cools. UGG!
