The semi-reflective part of the controller is almost like a brushed gold color, and it shines a bit brighter in direct light very nicely. I've been through a lot of Xbox One controllers. Literally all they take is one drop from a couple feet onto a hard wood floor and something breaks. Usually it's an unresponsive d-pad or thumbstick drift. But this one is different, I've dropped it a few times and I've had it for a long time and it still works perfect. I got this for my boyfriend as a gift and he really likes it! He likes that the trigger buttons are textured so it is easier to control them. The only negative comment he has is that the home button needs to be pressed pretty hard to work, but maybe it needs to be warn in for a bit because it’s brand new. *edit* in my last photo there is a rechargeable battery pack inserted, this controller does NOT come with this.
