  • Great controller!
We needed a replacement controller when ours died. This one is great and my son loves that it has the screen record function. Easy to set up, charge, great value for the money.

  • Great controller, but...
Bought this in August 2022 (approximately 2.5 years ago from the time of this review) and for the most part I like it a lot. It looks beautiful, with a speckled blue sheen, and the grips have all the blue swirls. It gets the job done and it's worked with every game I've tried to use it with. However, I do have a few minor issues. And they are minor, which is why I'm still giving it a solid 4/5. If I could give a 4.5 I would. My biggest issue is that if you want to use this with multiple computers/devices, it seems like it gets really confused which it's supposed to be connecting to and it will fail to pair until you tell the previous computer to forget it. And I don't mean when it's currently paired to another computer...simply being a "remembered device" can make it fail to pair to a second computer/device unless you tell that computer to forget it or turn it off. Sometimes I find myself wishing it had a dongle so I wouldn't have to deal with the hassle of a failed pairing, going back to the original device, telling it to forget the controller or shutting it down, going back, try to pair again, etc. Overall not a huge issue, just a mild annoyance, but definitely something to consider if you want to use it with multiple devices (a computer, laptop, VR headset, whatever). After 2.5 years, it is experiencing just a tiny bit of joystick drift on the left joystick, but it goes away with a little jiggle. It'll usually happen...maybe once per hour during use? I don't think I'm particularly rough with the controller, and it's a sturdy controller, but again, it's not a huge deal. Just a little annoying. But it took over 2 years to start doing it, so I got some solid use out of it before it started. There's no an on/off switch. You turn it on and it stays on until it times out from a lack of input. I do worry that with the aforementioned joystick drift, it may fail to turn off and drain my battery at some point. This hasn't happened yet, and it may not, so it may be a baseless worry. Regardless, I wish it had a manual switch. Yeah, I can remove the batteries to make it turn off faster, but that's annoying. Lastly, the Xbox button glows to indicate the controller is on or blinks to indicate pairing mode. If you play in the dark, it's pretty bright, and it's a fairly large button so it will be glowing in your face. (See photos for reference.) It bothers my husband so much that any time he uses it, I end up covering the button with a few layers of washi tape to dim it. Overall, these issues are relatively small and even combined these issues aren't a dealbreaker for me personally...but they might be for someone else, so I figured I should leave a review. All that considered I still really like the controller and don't regret the purchase whatsoever. ... show more

  • Not new, damaged
The controller is broken, it works but it doesn’t work with a headset, I plugged my headset into my old controller just to verify that it wasn’t the headset that was having an issue the headset works just fine on all my other controllers it just doesn’t work on this one. It also was advertised as new. It definitely was not new it did not come in a Xbox original box and it was refurbished ... show more

  • Gorgeous Controller
The photos do not do it any justice. It has such a beautiful glow in the light and the grips look cool and feel great. I've always been a fan of Xbox controllers, and as nice as the original Series X|S ones feel with the grip bumps, it never feels as good as rubber grips. Otherwise, this is a Series controller, so same features, buttons and feel as the standard one. I've just always been a fan of their controllers and I was excited when they finally released a good looking controller on the newest model controller. ... show more
