I use a lot of ropes for tree work. I purchased this initially because it had a good strength rating and a great price. It works so well, that it has replaced most of my other ropes and I got a second one for situations where I need more/longer line (and I just attach together via hooks). I use it in all types of ways, including attaching to truck or tractor hitch to pull trees and/or limbs, pulling through snatch-block/pulley, etc. and it always works well. Worked well as a safety rope as a tie off while working on the roof. The clips help for quick attachment as well as a small weight on the end of the rope that facilitates throwing one end over a tree limb or a one story house. I’ve seen a lot of people commenting on how this isn’t made for climbing. I’ve been climbing for a few months now and since I’ve used this rope, I’ve no issues. It hasn’t knotted or bunched up on me a single time. I’ve fallen on it with my entire weight from a few feet and didn’t feel any unnecessary discomfort. I think half the reviews on this product need to learn how to properly store their rope so it doesn’t tangle and maybe don’t spend as little money on a harness as you did for rope to avoid the overdramatic “jarring”. ... show more
