This mask does sting a bit, but the warning that this happens to the packaging helps calm my nerves. It contains Priori's lovely LCA complex - Lactic Acid, Vitamin C, Vitamin A. The complexes in each product are great at brightening and clearing blemishes, but this mask also contains algae extract and glycerin to hydrate and moisturise. I also like masks that absorb a bit after wearing, so it's good. I am very happy with the result. My skin looks plump and nourished, feels soft and calm, and redness is reduced. Sometimes, it can take hours for my skin to react, but I have absolutely no reaction at all. I tried it again the following week and it was fine again.

I see that a lot of people use this as a mask that you would apply for a 15 or 20 minutes, and then remove. I also tried that, and wasn't that impressed. I have an oilier T zone, and drier areas around my chin, so a combination type skin. I was hoping the mask would do a good job to hydrate my dryer areas, without exacerbating oily areas as well. It's not great as a 15 minute mask, meaning I didn't really see any huge differences myself personally. It does advertise on Amazon as an overnight mask, so I decided to try it a few times that way, and that's where this product really excels. It locks in hydration, and is gentle enough not to irritate my skin at all. I really did like the way my skin felt hydrated and glowing in the morning. Like I mentioned, about my drier areas around my chin, this mask did a great job of preventing any flaking issues, which I have from time to time. It certainly is expensive, but I think if used correctly, you'll get excellent results. All in all, I do very much appreciate Priori as a brand, as I find their products to be very high quality, and do a good job of avoiding irritation with several different types of skin. If you could afford it, I would recommend giving it a try as an overnight mask. I think as a mask you apply temporarily for 15 minutes or so, you'll be disappointed. That being said, I think like anything else, use it correctly, and you'll get good results.

I love Priori, so I usually jump at the chance to try any new (to me) products by this brand. And this particular product sounded right for me; I have some acne scarring and frequent sensitivity, but I find lactic acid works well with my skin for super light exfoliation and brightening. This product is described as a 'sleep mask' here on Amazon, but that phrase doesn't appear anywhere on the packaging or the product itself. The directions on the product recommend that you wear it for 10 to 15 minutes as a more traditional skin masque. (Note the spelling. Priori is an Australian brand. :) ) I believe the most likely explanation for the discrepancy is an input error with the Amazon listing, so I used it according to the directions on the product tube. To be honest, I'm not crazy about this treatment. It's okay; the masque is kind of thick and creamy, but it feels sort of...I don't know...weird? Another reviewer used the word 'waxy', and I think that's what it is. There's a resistance to the texture that is slightly unpleasant to me. However, it didn't irritate my skin at all, neither while using (although there is a heads up on the packaging that your skin might tingle when it is first applied), nor after. But it didn't really moisturize or soften my skin any more than my regular routine does. I still love Priori, though! It's a great skincare brand. All Priori products are free of sulfates, parabens, formaldehyde, mineral oils, and triclosan, plus they are all vegan and 100% cruelty-free! It is a company that is committed to creating skincare products that are as clean and natural as possible while incorporating the best, most effective skincare science and maintaining the highest ethical standards for the products they develop. I trust them...which is why I will try this product again--and probably again--because they usually know what they're doing. And just because I don't enjoy using a product doesn't mean it doesn't work. Just ask my epilator. ;)

Priori Skincare Hydrofill Face Mask for Intense Hydration with AHA Lactic Acid is effective on my sensitive, rosacea prone skin. I apply it to cleansed skin, leave it on for 15-20 minutes, rinse with cool water, and follow with DNA Intense Recovery Face Cream. My skin feels soft and comfortable. If Priori weren't so expensive I would give it five stars.

I love Priori brand. Great products, effective ingredients, just a reliable skincare source overall. This product offers itself up as either an overnight mask or a quick 15-minute treatment, but I found it was best used as an overnight sleep mask in the very last step of an evening facial routine. Texture is thick and I found when used as a "15-minute mask" that it was simply an odd, out-of-place heaviness I didn't want. It kind of reminded me of applying and removing cold cream, which is fine if that's your preference for makeup removal, but I would expect to do a water cleanse after that and using this product as a short-acting mask left me wishing I could rinse rinse rinse. When used as an overnight mask, however, I found the thick and dense texture to be welcome as a barrier product and deep hydrator sealing in all the rest of my previous steps. I always use sleep masks as the very final step in my routine as I find they work best there, and I appreciated that this one provided a lot of moisture but didn't leave my face looking wildly greasy - although I really don't care about shine with a sleep mask. I'm going right to bed, anyway. Overall I loved the effect from this sleep mask, as when waking up after use my skin was nicely plump and softened. Low fragrance and zero irritation means this is yet another home run from Priori as far as I'm concerned! Recommended for sure.
