  • So exciting!!
Yay, it is finally here, and an entire week before the expected timeframe. Was not expecting it so soon! I think I have a good enough idea what to expect from the performance of this bike based on what I have no qualms in rating just based on the experience receiving it alone. Bike is VERY well secured and packaged and looks like it arrived in EXCELLENT condition, which was a big worry I had since I have seen other people report that. I leave to take my endorsement test soon. I dont see the paperwork I need to register it yet, but I have heard sometimes that is mailed separately. Cannot wait to get it out and take it for a spin!! I know im not going to be winning any races, but I dont care. This is my first motorcycle and I need something easy on torque and HP so I dont fear for my life (or the bike) the first time I try to take off on it. I purchased this because it seemed like a cheap way to get my feet wet in the world of riding before I buy something that will suit me more when I have some more experience under my belt. I am 6'3 so I have always been concerned with size, but it is not a small bike. I hope if you are considering purchasing this that you are doing your research so you probably know this is the Kawasaki Ninja 250/400 frame and farings. I already have some upgrades purchased and am going to give it an oil change before I ever try to start it. For info on this bike, check out DOHowen on youtube. He has a lot of helpful insight. Yammienoob who is a popular motorcycle youtuber was not very kind in what he had to say about it, but it sounds to me like some of his issues were the specific bike he got and things he probably would have recieved plenty of support for had he needed help. Also he jokes around that people should start out on a Turbo Hayabusa and definitely seems like somewhat of a younger show-out. I didn't buy this bike to bolster my ego, burnout in front of pretty girls, or drive along the street hoping everyone is looking at me lol. If it holds highway speeds (when I am ready for that kind of riding) then I will be happy. I didnt want a motorcycle to open up to 180mph and kill myself. I just want something that goes and to experience the fun of motorcycling. You probably could find a bigger better used bike for a similar price, but since I am new to this I am a little concerned getting a bike not knowing how the engine was broken in or how well it was maintained. Hope to come back and add more once I have been able to drive it. ***UPDATE 3/31/24**** Well dang, buying it in November and not Late March meant I missed out on like a $400 price drop lol. I would think it would be the opposite since now riding season is fully underway. Well for about $400-500 less than I paid for it, I DEFINITELY have to leave it at 5 stars. I put about 60 miles on it today, and I am at about 375 miles total on it. Now that we are out of the cold, That odometer is about to pick up quick. Getting close to its first oil change in its service life outside of the initial one. I am already looking forward to my next bike already, but also this bike is $2200. You'll probably be at about $2700 after tax and delivery. It goes. You can plot two points on the map and get there. I have not personally gone above 60mph on it. It definitely could, I just don't feel confident enough on it to go that fast yet. Also it is extremely light. In the MSF course I learned on Harley Street 500s, and I feel like I could go 70-80mph on the freeway on one of those easily. Do not be too disappointed with performance out of the box. It gets noticeably peppier as the engine starts to break in. It is a BLAST on windy 45-50 mph backroads. I very rarely drive it much faster than 50-55, but it is doing that speed with no problems in 5th gear. I am sure one of these days soon I will just man up and try to get it on the highway and top it out. When I wrote the first half of this review months ago, I mentioned Yammie's video on it. He said "A Hyabusa at 140mph feels safer than this at 70mph" and I think he is onto something. I know it WILL go that fast, it just starts to feel a little sketch after 60 if you ask me. It just feels like it was designed more for city use. Think of it like a city moped wearing a sportbike's clothing. It also has no problems whatsoever accelerating and pacing with traffic, so if you just want a fun, cheap alternative means to get around then it's a great buy. I wanted to add more and I want you guys to have an honest and thorough review. With the price drop if I could add a star I would. If the final purchase cost exceeded $3500, it would start losing them. When I purchased mine they were selling for $2600 and my final cost was about $3100. As long as you are not expecting it to be more than it is, you will LOVE that you own it. Especially if it is your first motorcycle. Just BE CAREFUL. Ride like you are invisible. An old lady in like an 89 oldsmobile turned left in front of me today. If I had not been anticipating that possibility and riding ho-hum along my merry way expecting her to yield, I would have smacked right into her. Never assume someone is going to yield to you. ... show more

  • Great purchase for such a cool product with a low price.
I love the design of this bike, a racing motorcycle's body on a street bike! Reminds me of my '98 Kawasaki ZX-6R I had years ago, except a much smaller engine. I'm much older now so that's okay. Pretty awesome product for such an affordable price overall. After ordering it, the shipping came much faster than expected, about 4-5 days early. I just received the paperwork and can't wait to get my plates on and go for a ride. I actually tested it for a few minutes in our neighborhood parking lot and was pretty happy about the quick start and comfortable sitting. I had one issue about a screw that wouldn't come out while assembling the mirrors, until it was stripped, but their customer service is excellent. Quick responses for solutions and suggestions, and always ready to assist. Looking forward to my plates and riding. Stay tuned! ... show more

  • Nice for the price, but make sure to check it over.
I really like this bike so far. The shipping was very quick and came even b4 the estimated dates. The shipping company handled everything and everyone was very friendly. The bike did have some small issues. The wheel speed sensor line had been cut into and I had to rewire it so that the odometer would work, pretty easy. The mirrors that came with the bike didn't fit well and no matter.how they were adjusted they didn't line up for proper use so I ordered a new set. I also personally don't like that I can't take off the factory stickers and there's no room to put my own so I will probably wrap the bike later on. Otherwise she rides great and I havent any issues so far that others talked about (still checked and doesn't hurt to check) I've gotten my bike to 75mph and she still felt like she had some power left. (I'm 155lbs 5'5) Since I'm short I had to get a lowering link but I expected that as I always have to lower my bikes. 😅 For the price I love her. She's great so far for me getting back into riding after a while and her speed is perfect for the area I live. I would recommend. ... show more

  • It doesn't want to stay running at Idle, Starter Failed already
I love the bike but it doesn't want to run at Idle and I don't know how to fix the problem. What I'm really upset about is the bike staled at a stop sign and when I tried to restart it, it wouldn't start. I was a hour and a half from my home and the electric start failed. I took the cover off the starter and it seems the starter has failed. The bendix is not sliding back in and allowing the gear to engage. It's a good thing that I know about bikes or I would of been stranded. I was able to push start it and continue to my destination but this is BS. If I'd of known the starter was going to fail on me so soon, I would of returned the bike. I bought it brand new because I didn't want to have to work on it and thought by buying it new, I wouldn't have engine problems for quite some time. ... show more

  • Great for new riders
Size: Red
A little big and heavy for a starter bike, but if youre slightly on the bigger side you wouldnt even notice. When the bike came in one of the footrest was actually broken and so i contacted customer support and they not only replaced it but they sent me an extra gear shift. Definitely worth the buy
