  • Faulty motor upon arrival (resolved)
Color: Green
The media could not be loaded. The one star will be for the build of the bike itself as it would definitely be worth the price if I didn't run into an issue at 3 mi that was about as bad as it gets. So the shipping is incredibly fast It literally got here in like 3 days It literally had to be in Texas The company taking care of the shipping handle the package very well and delivered it with great care so that was about perfect. And this is where the fun begins. I broke down all the packaging and put the bike together with ease I noticed it had 1.5km on the odometer so I'm assuming it was tested if so I can't believe this was missed.. I checked the coolant Nice and pink and full and reservoir where it should be I had to bleed the brakes twice check the oil through the sight glass It did look a little strange at first but it was full I proceeded to assemble the bike the rest of the way seat battery exc and prepare to start it. The bike had been started before as it look like something ahead melted or dripped on the exhaust while it was hot It did fire right up and idle for a bit everything seemed to be fine I shut it back off and check the oil check the coolant and everything checked out for a first ride but when I try to start it, it didn't really want to It turned over for about 20 seconds and was difficult to bring it up to idle and it was smoking pretty good color of smoke would indicate burning coolant (white) but it did eventually get going. I jumped on it took it out in the street and proceeded to drive about another mile doing about 20 to 25 mph at about 3,000 rpms I pulled it back in the garage and proceeded a check all the fluids again I noticed the oil didn't look good that's the first picture after draining the oil at mile 3 I immediately contacted X-Pro because as a mechanic this usually means blown head gasket but I was told the smoke was just breaking lubrication or building lube which is understandable but what I saw no sir and I was told to put 10:40 full synthetic back in it and continue to run it. The next day I took it to a friend's large piece of land The bike did not want to start at all I seen liquid coming out of the slip joint on the exhaust pipe I wiped it with my finger and it was pink same color as a coolant I did eventually it started after clearing the cylinder of coolant and I rode it around continuously same speed same RPM continuing the break-in process I got it up to 12 mi and noticed the oil was a major issue again through the site glass I checked the coolant and the level was about halfway down inside the radiator at that point I pretty much knew what was going on I loaded the bike up to take it home. Today I told them what my findings were and they wanted me to send them a video I did in fact send them a video It was too big so I had to put it on YouTube and I have yet to hear anything back and this is been over 15 hours I have over 20 days left on my warranty but question how this is going to be fixed The bike is 3300 not exactly cheap but It has a lot of potential it's a fuel injected 292cc water cooled overhead cam four stroke pretty sure it's a clone of the TT series of Yamaha I may be dealing with some bad luck hopefully this will get worked out I will post updates and if the problem is been taken care of or handled I will remove this review The picture of the oil fill cap is it 12 miles taken today 8:11:25 the video was also taken today and is the video that was post on YouTube that I had to send to them... To summarize this The bike had a bad engine upon arrival depending on what happens next I will take it to the motorcycle shop and ask them verify and give me documentation that I can use even though I have done a leak down test I put a borescope in and can personally see water in the cylinder I will have a shop the back up everything that I had said I upgraded this to a three star from a one was still hold the quality issue being a problem as the bike is 4 Grand but the company has gone above and beyond expectations not only did they send me a new motor they sent me a proper manufacturer of origin so I can get illegal in Texas and they were very quick about all of it within about a week everything was taken care of so that being said although I had a pretty bad issue The issue was resolved ... show more
