My wife is a very talented artist and in the past year or so, has expressed interest in becoming a tattoo artist/microblader. Aside from ink and transfer paper, this set has pretty much everything you need to get started. It seems reasonably priced, too. The pen feels pretty good in your hands, but my wife and I both have pretty big hands. Yes, I mention me as well because I thought the idea sounded fun and started using it as well. Not having a cord to deal with is a plus. Lights on the butt serve a dual purpose: 1) How much charge there is when plugged in. 2) Speed when operating. The kit comes with two types of needles (I had no idea there were so many different types of needles). We both have a lot practicing and research to do before we even think about putting ink into anybody's skin (ourselves included), but this set seems to have provided an important first step into what could become a long and important journey. We even have an appointment to tour a tattoo school. God only knows what the future holds. This is a decent kit, and would certainly be good for a beginner just getting into tattooing. However, keep in mind that doesn't contain everything you need to get started, but it's a pretty good beginning. This kit comes with a battery pack, which is a definite plus and makes tattooing far easier (as a beginner) than using an AC power supply unit,, a clip cord, and a foot switch. It really makes it much less complicated, and less encumbered. The pen is fine, but it's shape (long, with a curved grip area, is just not my personal preference. I prefer straight sides, which makes it easier to increase the grip thickness with grip tape and paper towel. The battery pack works well, but the battery pack is rather elongated, as well, making the tattoo pen with the battery quite long. Not my choice, either. It is a very nicely made tattoo pen/battery setup, easy to adjust, and it's fairly quiet (compared to others in it's price range). There is some noticeable vibration, but it's manageable and not terrible, at all. Also included in the kit are a small bag of tattoo ink caps, a wide roll of tattoo grip tape, and 40 tattoo needle cartridges. Of the 40 needle cartridges 20 are liners (1205RL), and 20 are shaders (1205RS). All forty are built around the number 12 needle, which has a thicker shaft (0.35mm), and a short taper. This is a good choice for starting out. The cartridges are very good quality, featuring a large port/window, internal stiffeners for more cartridge rigidity, and they are color-coded for easy reference. Check out the different silicone rubber top caps (black for liners, blue for the round shaders). Also included are a single sheet of synthetic tattoo skin, and a hard shell case, which locks. Here's what is not included in this kit: Inks (there are none), latex exam gloves, and tattoo design transfer paper. Over time and with practice you'll need even more materials, but this is certainly an adequate start, and a nice machine. ... show more

WZBP makes great kits and this is no exception, with a bright red color really catches everyone's attention, the machine performance is pretty good, it rolls pretty nice, and the battery duration is also pretty good I have gone around 4-5 hours with no problem. the kit comes in a nice box to protect and store everything and even a set of keys for security, overall a very nice kit for beginners. ... show more

i like this pen. most people like a fatter pen for grip but it cramps my hand so i love the slim and slender pens. this one is nice, low noise, not an intense vibration. the needles fit well, no issues with the pen at all. thankful for the nice case it all comes in. the battery is a little longer than what im used to so it threw my hand balance off at first but it didnt take long to adjust and it was fine. had a tattoo session last night with this pen and i like what it does, no complaints. great kit for beginners or scratchers, like myself. judge away. ... show more

This thing is fun to use. It comes with the main 'pen', the battery module, some cups, two boxes of sterile needles, some gauze tape, and a skin colored practice material all inside a simple case. It was really nice to use without a cord, and it has a nice weight to it. You will still need some ink and gloves, but otherwise has everything you need to get started at least. ... show more
